An Update - Future Plans and Answering Some Questions [Update #1]

- Just a quick update I decided to make pertaining to my future plans. Let me know if you prefer the way this video was presented or if you’d rather listen to me speak my thoughts. There’s nothing additional I want to add here, everything I wanted to address is included in the video. Have a good rest of your day/night, next compilation should be out soon.

if i can help i will try and i love the fact that you acknowledge it's their work frequently, so many other people don't do that. my only suggestion is that if you are going to another video like this then maybe change the colours of the text and background, white and black isn't the best visually and can cause some problems. the videos and the work you put in is great.

This is fine. If I get enough timestamps for this specific type of video I'll probably eventually respond to your message, but I end up getting a lot more content sent my way for different types of videos, so don't feel neglected if I don't use the content, it's just that I haven't got enough content to make a full video.

Since I haven't made any compilations on people outside the "Vanoss Crew" and I haven't got a request that I really like enough to make a video on from anyone outside the Crew, for now I'll probably stick to making compilations pertaining to people in the Crew. In the future I'll probably end up making a hand full of compilations from people outside the Crew, I just don't know who it would be on yet.

I honestly suggest you stick to the 'Vanoss crew' because most people think they are the funniest and it clearly draws in plenty of views and subscriptions. But it's your channel, just a friendly suggestion
This is true, I get plenty of views and subscriptions. But to me there are two determining factors; will it be funny and will I have fun making the video. If those two things check out, I know in the end it will make a great compilation.

I think that it's okay that you ask for help but 5+ hours are not that of a big deal because if you are planning to make a living out of it at some point you should be willing to put effort into it. Only if you really want to make these videos
Well I'm not planning on making any money off of these videos without permission from the original owners of the videos. It's 5+ hours on top of balancing college, my family life, my social life, etc. I make these videos in my spare time and I enjoy doing it, so it's probably not something I'd consider doing full time unless I was getting paid for it, which I'm not currently.
How are you editing your videos? Did you buy Sony vegas or you are using another program?
Screenflow for Mac. I bought it for $100 about 2-3 years ago. It's decent.
how are you recording the videos? (i'm asking because I would like to open my own channel in the future so a bit of help would be appreciated ;D) ty for responding by the way. I guess that's one positive thing about a small channel that you get to interact with the subscribers
I also record the videos through ScreenFlow. It is both an editing software and it has the ability to record your computer monitor and record audio through a headset, all at the same time. And yes, having a smaller channel does mean I get to interact more with subscribers and respond to more comments, so that is definitely a positive.

I've been completely busy with school and family for the past 6-8 weeks, but now that school is over I should be making something new soon.
