    Thanks. A question, what is the difference between actual rating & full rating?

    • @ElectricalStuff
      @ElectricalStuff  2 месяца назад

      did i discuss in my video ?
      both are same ,in some cases particular motors and air conditioners starting current is high then operating current in that case we can see different current ratings
      during that case better to select the full load rating current.

    • @ibrahimn.j.4943
      @ibrahimn.j.4943 2 месяца назад

      @@ElectricalStuff Yes , in the video a slide mentions “actual” another mentions “full”. So, full rating likely means whichever is higher? Which I guess gonna be the starting current, usually?

    Hi we don’t have 21.79 a breaker, but all calculations we have to do with this current know. Not 32A standards

    • @ElectricalStuff
      @ElectricalStuff  3 года назад +1

      Hi
      You are crt 21.79 breakers not available . Breakers are standard sizes such as 6A ,10A,20A,25A rare 32A etc
      So you have to choose your breaker rating accordingly .
      For ex: same shown in calculation your breaker rating should be greater than your rated load current.
      Further any clarity please feel free to ask

Can you please explain the difference ? is it because of single phase and 3 phase or what ?

    Why we use RCBO not mcb ?? Is it due to some type of earthing system,in TNS earthing where we have separate earth cable from T/F side also used ELCB ,RCBO or not in MDB,DB ,etc panels

    Sir i have some questions, please explain them in detail in next video
    1. At video time 8.20 u said grouping factor. What is grouping factor and why it is used?
    2. These calculations are according to DEWA or ADDC?
    3. At time 10.58 u said that cable size is 6mm^2. But what about voltage drop and short circuit condition formula?
    4. I didn’t understand “FDB enclosure size” correctly can you explain it again please
    5. Isolator i 3 pole or 4 pole so it should be 3 or 4 modules why 8?
    6. Explain row capacity in detail.
    7. At 14.43 “The following points…… design FDB” please explain these points in detail,
    8. If possible make a real time example solution video like when a customer/client ask for a project and how to calculate a system for that client
    Thanks😊

      many questions few i can clear
      grouping factor is as per the IEC and dewa/addc regulations
      it is allowed us to consider some assumption to calculate full/rated current at given load .
      for voltage drop i make separate video cable size calculation please watch you can understand.
      for enclosure size we consider incomer 8 bcz , as per the size of the isolators ( 3 ph .neutral ,earth all these 5 items and so all these as per the manufacturer recommendation ) , i try to make with practical video for this , so you can understand further .
      thanks for asking and subscribing our channel .
      i hope i try to answer your question .

    If I have a few free slots for additional MCB in the DB box. How do I calculate the load without overloading the whole row, ELCB or the DB box? How can I be sure if I can add another 32A MCB safely?
    شكرا جزاكم الله عنا خيرا

    • @ElectricalStuff
      @ElectricalStuff  3 года назад +1

      Good question , to add additional MCB
      The following points to be consider
      1- How much load we are going to add
      2- If we add this additional load our incomer breaker is sufficient ? need to check
      3- Is any free space available to provide additional breaker .
      4- If you are unable to provide ELCB then provide RCBO
      For practically during designing DB , we consider 20 % spare load ,it means we have additional
      Spare breakers .
      I hope the answer your question, further if you have any particular case share those details we will discuss.
