I love the fact that you test kixx and stuff that's really geed up to me .i would rock those i like the colour and the way the bottom of the shoe is design but i would only rock them to play ball not to dress up or go out to the club or so lol .

Light Foam is good but nowhere nearly as good as Boom (which was used on the Wade 7 and another high-end runner that Li-ning released). If I remembered correctly Boom is boost and zoom x's child, it is essentially puffed Pebax beads. This one also features carbon fiber whereas the regular version is tpu I think...
I guess I have the basic/first version of those (the one with the blue sole) and honestly - they are very, very solid performers. No any problems with the traction, cushion is nice and in my version ventilation is awsome. Comparing to LeBrons 17 - very different shoes :)
I actually really like the look of those shoes, though the traction looks, as you said, like it may have some issues, almost like they’ve designed it purely focusing on the aesthetics rather than performance, looking forward to the full review to see. By the way our equivalent of your Gremlins story with your children was Ghostbusters, showed it to our children a few years ago when our youngest was 8, yep, completely inappropriate, the 80s were a different time... Are the Li-Ning CJ McCollum series good for basketball team to play in? I have been looking for team shoes for my AAU team but want to test them out 1st so will purchase 1 and have 1 of my players try to see if it is durable and good.

The Sonic 7 is my current hoop shoe and the one I train in & use as game shoe. Sonic 7 low is an amazing shoe. I have several pairs of Kyrie 5’s and CP3.12’a and the Sonic is the main option day in day out. I have the Yu Shuai 13 low (but std model) pink colorway coming in mail soon..hopefully by Monday!

I guess you can only get them from Li-ning brand stores in China. They sold so well that it's hard for chinese people to get a pair if we do not want to go to their stores early.

The regular version has lightfoam (ETPU-based), this Premium version has a different midsole with Pebax-based foam.

"boom" is not the same as ETPU, ETPU is made of TPU, but Boom is made of Pebax.

Yu Shuai 13 boom played the stop sign for the competition of best performance basketball sneaker. It's width perfectly fits the Asian foot type.
It is pebax material for the midsole (similar configuration you may find it at reebok running shoes)
They visually remind me of the Kobe 9 and 10 Elite Highs.

Yu Shuai stands for rain water in Chinese, therefore it has aspects of it like the traction pattern.
you are probably thinking of "yu shui", but the Chinese characters actually means a General (in army)
These premium ones use midsole tech called "Boom", and are unreasonably expensive...
