I used to go to Silverstone a lot with my dad when I was younger, once I start driving I'm going to start going again, I loved just walking around the paddock & walking through the pits after races :P
The Corvette sounds amazing, I went to Spa a few years back & it was a 24 Hour race & we'd fall asleep by the Bus Stop & the Corvette was so loud it would wake us up haha
its also fantastic to see the Ford GT's running as well. Just think. thats a winning design that worked so long ago and was sooo good it works today. amazing.

My dad look me to Goodwood and Brands Hatch. In those days (the '60) F1 drivers would drive in the Saloon car race (sedan) and then get into their F1 cars and race again. Man, how I love racing.

Im a saleen owner and fan, Although i am happy to see the corvette teams doing well, i still gota bone to pick with the Factory corvette team when they first entered FIA GT series, as they complained that team saleen and the s7's should have extra ristrictor plates because the s7's were running as fast as the prototype2 class cars. That move enabled Factory corvette to gain a big advantage on the s7's. Btw these racing s7's are naturally aspirated theyre not the TT versions.
great video! I really like the GT1 series, they have some pretty spectacular racing. The only thing i don't like is the rolling starts. The races i have seen there happens nearly nothing in the start because they are up to speed so they don't need to worry about wheel spin. Does anyone know why they do rolling starts?
We love these machines, Love the sounds and wish we could drivem everyday, but the honest truth is, theyre uncomfortable, embassasingly loud, tweeky, and youl have the entire police force behind you waiting for one mistake. All said, i still want one.
Unfortunately video does these cars no justice. In person and upclose (or from a far) these machines sound like the equivalent of a lobster dinner a shot of whiskey with a side order of curly fries! pure satisfaction. Im actually please to see so many saleen s7's running. i wish a few saleen mustangs were in the mix. Team saleen ran them in lemans for some time. they did extremely well coming in 9th overall. and thats saying alot for saleen mustangs running against the best!.
its not twin turbocharged......its a regular saleen S7R most likely bought from ASEMCO motorsports the way the chassis looks, ive seen the car at Road America at the ALMS in 2006.....
Cool with all the different makes in the series. But i which the rules stated that you have to use the original top and block, because now all these Nissan fanboys is going to say that the R35 is as fast as the corvette on the street just as its on the GT1 series (prob by next year)
