Really interesting post. Get a new producer, but apart from that very well researched with some deep insights into what went on, which I have never heard anywhere else. These add a whole new dimension, in fact several of them, to this famous story. Thank you. Please do some more, on whatever subject.

That was very interesting, because while I remember learning about this in school and remember some of those names and events from school lessons, I don't ever remember learning how it stopped, the political angle over the risk of Salem getting a new charger from the crown, or the attempts at coverup afterwards. I never knew about the realization and repentance of some of the key figures of the Witch Trials. What a thing to have to live with for the rest of one's life! It's not just that people died. The survivors of anyone who pled or was found guilty and executed could have been destitute after losing their home, farm, or other property.
