To be honest they should've continued hero factory a bit longer so they could conclude every plot point and think about what they were going to do with bionicle g2, since you know *it was donkey ass*
A bit late (by 2 years) but I have a story. So in Walmart my little child eyes saw some hero factory complex figure and I really wanted it. My dad said I couldn’t build it. So a couple days later my mom buys it and after finishing it I have my mom call my dad. I was so proud.
You know, looking back at hero factory, the simplicity of it all reminds me of the good ol days of superheroes, the days when superheroes fought alongside each other and worked together to defeat a common foe instead of fighting each other,

I was originally going to make this a Ruined FOREVER episode, but I loved Hero Factory too much to do that, and thought most of the hate for the series came from it "not being Bionicle." Hopefully there are some out there who agree with me. I am perfectly fine for people to disagree as I know there will be those that do, but all I ask is that you be polite about it. Thank you :)

don't get me wrong I love both series as well but if bionicle never happened, hero factory would've had better love I think.
Diamond Bolt I have fond memories of this series but I pretty much lost interest after breakout. As it is I didn't have many of the sets either besides the original Furno Surge Evo and Nex figures. I had the Savage planet Furno as well but after that I never get any other ones. But even so I loved the animated series at the time and that was probably my favorite part since I never read the books and the comics were just really bad adaptations of the animated series as I recall. Either that or the animated series made the comics better but I don't know. Now though I don't really care to much for the series and I don't think the animated series is as good as I remember it. But I still hold the original four episodes in higher regard than the later ones.

I was unable to get any of the 2nd Wave Brain Attack sets, outside of Dragon Bolt, or Invasion From Below. :(
I had/have all sets prior except for that 2-pack at 1:02.
I've been unable to get any of the five Bionicle G2 Year 2 Wave 2 sets either. (Ekimu XL, Umarak The Destroyer and the three Beasts.)

Damn the only full line i had was wave 1 of invasion from below (before they went underground so technically not even a whole line)

I have only 5 sets and i love hero factory
I was never a hug fan of Hero Factory. I got a lot of sets, and liked certain aspects, but always saw it as inferior to Bionicle. That being said, I'm really glad you and so many others seemed to have gotten so much enjoyment out of it. I'm also happy that you came out and make a video expressing your adoration for the theme, especially one as controversial and divisive as Hero Factory. Keep up the enjoyment and support for the things you love regardless of what others have so say!

I was in kindergarten at the time (2010), but I LOVED hero factory. I like Bionicle but Hero factory was simple and that was up my 6 year-old alley. Although in 2014 the show ended and bionicle rose back up but was then crushed again.

Thank you! Hero Factory was my childhood because it's just what I grew up with at that age! I loved the games, comics, sets, and movies! Until IFB, that is. But the nostalgia kills me inside sometimes.
Thank you, finally! someone else who enjoyed hero factory! they were amazing, the pieces were new, interesting, and hard to break. A kid could take apart his heros and make his own, as well as making his own new villains. I also agree that breakout was the best. i have fond memories of being ECSTATIC at getting new heroes and villains and making them battle. And those movies were great, and the books were THE BEST EVER, they went in depth, helped develop characters, and had new interesting stories. by the way, i actually really like bionicle. i just wanted to say how much i love hero factory

I loved hero factory too, though Bionicle in my own opinion was still better. But Hero Factory introduced such an AMAZING building system, and didn’t break as much as the Bionicle ones. Wow....I should save this for a review channel shouldn’t I

Basically the theory goes that Bulk and Stringer weren't in Ordeal of Fire because Bulk actually died and Stringer went off on his own for a bit out of grief. Obviously completely debunked by their appearances in Savage Planet.

Hero factory is important to me because I was introduced to it early in my childhood and I am 19 now and I still buy these amazing sets!
I'm simultaneously honoured and confused that someone linked one of my videos for a discussion. Either way I appreciate it very much and hope a lot of people get a laugh out of it.
Anyhow I must agree, it holds a place in my heart for trying something different, even if it never reached the heights of Bionicle G1.

Thank you, all I here is "hero factory sucked" I loved it. Even though the last line was bad I thought the mechs were awesome, oh and I loved the villains too, especially fire lord, von nebula, and witch doctor.

It wasn't bad,but it made huge mistakes from the beginning. They associated themselves with Bionicle in it's first year, and couldn't live up to it

Y'know, I myself have almost all the sets, apart from the Frost Beast, Queen Beast, and a couple of polybag sets. Apart from that, I'm pretty good (yes, I even have that Bulk vs Vapour set, which is fairly decent a set). ^.^

hero factory's first wave definetly had the most diverse sets that were rarer than others. also, i think diamondbolt forgot how furno had the worst set as furno 2.0. seriously, THOSE BINOCULARS LOOKS SILLY AS FU**! also, brain attack was sh** as they made furno the leader instead of stormer

Omg i thought i was the only one to even love hero factory, its good to see a fanbase and also diamond bolt, do you have the evil witch doctor set if you dont i highly recommend getting it, it is more complex than other figures and it looks awesome

I have been writing my own Hero Factory storyline called Villain Factory. It is set after Breakout when the plans for Hero Factory were stolen, and a villain uses the plans to make a Villain Factory, which builds villains with anti-quaza powered villain cores.

My first set was the stromer XL from break out and currently i have 3 xls ( rocka, stormer, furno) 3 basic sets and 1 minifig i really love hero factory as it was very fun building and mixing their sets
Also i loved the combination feature that they had for brain attack

When it comes to pieces i LOVED hero factory, there are so many neat and cool parts
my first two hero factory sets were a Breeze 2.0 and a Stormer 1.0 when I was 6. they also were my first buildable figure set type period, so I have always had a sentimental attachment to the series

Man, I love Hero Factory. I didn't have any heroes until Breakout, and I only bought the villains since the first year. I've always wanted Von Nebula. Such good memories. This does mean I have no heroes pre-Breakout, _not yet._

I loved hero factory and still do. I remade most of alpha team because I never found a breeze or nex. I wish lego brought hero factory back and put the original team back on it and have them continue the story and disregard invasion from below. Probably never going to happen though and that makes me sad.
I grew up with hero factory, and I'm currently rebuilding and sorting my old sets. I don't care how many people dislike it Imma cherish my sets as a piece of my childhood forever xD

These things were my childhood. My favorite toys ever! I never got into Bionicle but when Hero Factory happend I was set for my entire childhood. I still make mocs to this very day. And many even inspire some characters I make. If you were to show me any (decent) moc, I could tell you their personality, arc, possible death, all thanks to Hero Factory giving me it’s love and parts. I’ll miss the Constraction sub-series, they were much better than LEGO. More possibilities, more poseibility, more chances for stories, just better in every way.
I'm of the older Bionicle generation so I remember the hate HF got back when G1 ended. But it is still warming to see how it captured the imagination of kids from its era the same way Bionicle did for my age demographic
I was never a big fan of Hero Factory. I was a HUGE fan!!! Meltdown is easily my favourite villain in the series, and I was violently ecstatic to see him appear in Breakout

In the episode, that red guy (10/10 memory) or Stormer refuses to recharge(?) and took a Tahu ‘I’m-Randomly-Betraying-You’ before someone kicked his ass

When I heard Hero factory ending I was so damn sad as I was a litter kid that grew up with Hero factory and loved it so much the one time I was upset with it was when I played around with the build a hero and it never came but I have owned a bunch of Hero factory sets and seeing new episodes appear on the RUclips channel made me excited until they ended it on a massive cliffhanger but still all good things have to come to an end
HF was okay, I bought some sets too, though it's a shame that big mystery was never resolved that they were setting up about the one behind everything and the supposed construction of a villain factory.
Rocka's figure in Breakout has to be my favourite Hero Factory set till this day. Seriously, a crossbow and a shield just struck my younger self with too much awe, and the show was actually entertaining

My Hero Factory figures are just sitting in a box in my room. Along with my BIONICLE figures. I have quite a large collection of both of them, but now they're just collecting dust. Transformers takes main priority now. 👍
I remember having a couple of the Hero Factory sets that i own back then but the one that i like was the Furno motorcycle set which was really cool and the other sets are cool as well.
I remember that i thought that bionicle, and hero factory where in the same universe. Bionicle was in the past, and hero factory was in the future. Really was expecting a crossover.
There's a theory about Makuro being a Turaga on subreddit. And several Easter eggs/similarities between HF and Bionicle. There's also two crossover fics on AO3 if you're interested.
Also, Bionicle and HF Xovers have been very much on my mind and I've been listening to Bionicle soundtracks on loop for awhile.
Now I got the idea to turn Rocka into a Hordika and have Alpha tram stranded on a planet very much like the setting of Bionicle 3: Web of Shadows. Roodaka didn't die in that movie after all.
I can totally agree with you DiamondBolt. Although the original bionicle series was awesome, I really liked hero fatory. I still have a few hero factory figures as of today. Shame I don't really see them in stores anymore.

I loved hero factory when I was young even though I couldn’t buy any of the sets and I just had the movies of them and during that time I was only allowed to watch Movie’s on dvd.

The book series was the first chapter book series I ever read and I adored them. I remember almost crying why I found out they were canceled.

I actually came in on Hero Factory's "Savage Planet" set,but had purchased Stormer XL's set. I never really built him up,but I've kept his entire body and pieces. Would you believe that I'm just now about to use that huge chest piece for a new Bionicle MOC,once I get my Chima figures delivered to me? I'm cooking up on something big and new. I just need more time.
