Hi MrDampkring - I was there during the month of May, it isn't exactly the rainiest month in the year. That said, Thailand is a tropical country and the weather can be rather unpredictable. If you have to make a decision on when to go then i guess it's best to check their annual rainfall average by month.
That's right, excellent opportunity to soak up some sunshine (weather permitting) and some excellent hikes. Otherwise, best check yourself into some boutique hotel, sit back and sip some cocktails.... ohh, and don't forget the straw hats and sunscreen ohh.. and don't forget to sample their local delights ohh.... and don't forget to try their coconuts Ohhhh, how I miss Koh Samui!!
Its a shame you only showed Tesco food as there as there are some fantastic places to eat only minutes from where you are and I eat there often , hopefully you get back to enjoy more of the island for what its known for :) sunshine and smiles ,,,,,,,,,
Did you go in June or just got round to uploading the video then? Would be useful (for others) to know what month you went in, to avoid rain next time ect. Can you clarify?
