Interview Preparation | Best Practices (from former CEO):
Welcome to another educational HR video on how to pass a job interview. I share five tips and five best practices. Topics I cover in Interview Preparation | Best Practices (from former CEO) include the importance of appearances, and looking like THE candidate. Speak in their terms. You need to use the same terminology / lingo as the interviewers. avoiding miscommunication, anticipating and answering traditional interview questions, as well as behavioral interview questions, preparing success stories, learning there beforehand. Research the company. Learn the function and background of the interviewers. Do mock interviews, to rehearse and get feedback. This can help you interview very well.

I came across your channel a couple of years ago when I was applying for a graduate scheme after finishing University. Your videos were super helpful then in helping me land the job on the scheme, and here I am 2 years later still watching your vids and having now just landed my permanent job role at the end of the scheme, thanks again to your advice. Your work is much appreciated, keep it up!
It was probably my 5th in-person interview (different positions) when I finally "got it". These videos are so helpful and you rock Bill, but to anyone who hasn't interviewed before, it's a skill on it's own and will take time to develop. Without these videos it would have taken me much longer - if ever - to feel genuinely excited about interviewing. Really appreciate all that you do for us Bill!
Thanks, Zachary!!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge Bill. I am a seasoned professional soon to be relocated to the US and your advice is invaluable! Despite my "credentials" I am a newbie of the US market
Very helpful, Bill - thank you for your positivity and key points!
Thank you Bill! You are awesome!
I work in IT so I need to grow the largest beard possible. Larger beard = more IT knowledge
Project manager = beard of bees
Top job Bill
You're hired
Great tips!
I should have listened, studied, and practiced what you are saying a year ago and I would most likely have a job by now.
Woulda coulda shoulda. You're awesome, Chris. You're going to come out on top.
I always go to an interview with a portfolio with copies of my resume and to take notes. Is this show that i am outdated? I am 50 yrs. I am pharmacist over 25 yrs. I see all these kids with just a phone.
No.
