Ingredients
Fenugreek - 1/4 cup
Njavara Rice ( red rice ) - 1 cup
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Dried ginger powder - 1 teaspoon
Cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Palm jaggery - 300 grams
Water - 1/2 cup
First coconut milk - 1/2 cup
Second coconut milk - 3/4 cup
Coconut oil - 3 tablespoon
Chopped Shallot - 1/4 cup
How to prepare
• One quarter cup of fenugreek and one cup of navara rice can be washed well and soaked in water for at least seven hours, then put it in the cooker with water, add two cups of water again and cook until three or four whistles come.
• 300 grams of palm jaggery can be mixed with half a cup of water and melted well. Pour the melted palm jaggery into the cooker.
•From one cup of grated coconut, 1/2 cup of first milk and 3/4 cup of second milk can be taken. After that, pour the second milk into the cooker and boil everything together. Add a teaspoon of crushed cumin seeds, a teaspoon of dried ginger powder, a teaspoon of cardamom powder, salt as needed and turn off the flame.
• Then the first milk can be poured. In another pan, pour a tablespoon of coconut oil and add a quarter cup of chopped small onion and fry it until it turns brown in color. Transfer this to the cooker. Serve hot and enjoy 😍❣️.
