Shantiniketan is one of the best place in India. This place is culturally rich and naturally beautiful place. Earlier in 18th century it was known as Bhuban danga. Shantiniketan means Rabindranath Tagore. Rabindranath has spent quite a lot of time of his life at Shantiniketan. Some of his best novels and poems were created at Shantiniketan. Sonajhuri haat, Surul Rajbari, Prokriti kendra, University campus, Rabindra Bhawan, Rail museum, Srijani shilpa gram and Kankalitala are the tourist places to seen. A lot of hotels are available at Shantiniketan with moderate and high budget.
