Hope you are enjoying Kev! Love Majorca but its so expensive to eat out, always self cater and dont drink, so all inclusive or half board isnt really an option for us! Would go to Santa Ponsa and Palma more often if it weren't so expensive! Magaluf was once a very cheap holiday,how times have changed!

Stayed at Katmandu about 10 years ago with daughter n granddaughters ,great hotel for families with mini water park , soft ball area kids club , the yeti theme would recommend. ,my only neg is i like a kettle etc in room there wasn't im not of fan of eating in hotels ,half board or inclusive . But for families catering for children it is ok .

I'd be intrigued to get Kevin's advice on this query too! Tenerife is around £2000 more foe a family of 4 to holiday in Octobee school holidays half board! We're looking at mainland Spain because of this but would really love to go toTenerife/ Canary Islands!

Tenerife normally dearer in Oct due to weather much better than mainland Spain, same at Xmas time. Majorca dearer in summer months often.
