original resident evil 2 was the first game I played as a kid. I had an N64 and my friend brought his playstation over and showed me this game and I was so scared of it but loved it at the same time. I begged my mom for a ps1 after that and ended up getting RE2 as my first ps1 game....RE2 is what started my huge collection for resident evil stuff, I even have an umbrella tattoo and the zombie cover art from RE 2 tattooed on me

These are the actual hard ones. The new ones arent hard. The old ones the shitty graphics made it harder bc you couldnt make shit out. Plus it just felt scarrier. The sounds gave me nightmares. I alwas played the piss out of evil dead on ps2. Those are the days i wouldnt trade for shit. Sleepovers staying up all night gorging on trash food drinking a case of soda sleeping half the day bc you stayed up til 8am lol. Playing smackdown just bring it or hctp story mode all night lol
I liked 2 and 3 more because it was outside. However the re1 remaster was nice. And the remake 2 brought the franchise to another level. Then fd it up again with remake 3 by cutting out alot of iconic things. Remake 4 i heard is very good, but i haven't played it yet.
This was a pleasant surprise Joe! As a gamer kid who grew up in the 90's, this nostalgia trip was amazing. Nice that it's solo too without people getting you off topic lol. Please keep doing more of these. I'm sure you have a lot of stories to tell

I played all the old resident evils but my favorite was resident evil 2 and 3 nemesis. The nemesis was scary asf as he would jump from random windows.
