About Forts: Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
The arms race intensifies with this new update that adds two new tech buildings which allow commanders access to six formidable new weapons, and a host of new and varied strategies. The Armoury unlocks Flak guns to clear the skies of enemy projectiles, and EMP rockets to power down enemy tech, both of which can be upgraded to the Shotgun and twin Rocket launcher, respectively. The classic Cannon is now found in the new Munitions Plant, where it is joined by it's little brother, the burst-firing 20mm Cannon. The Factory now produces two beam weapons, the classic Plasma Laser and the new Firebeam, great for penetrating fortifications to ignite them from within.
Tons of Guns comes complete with new AI forts bristling with new weapons for players to take on in Skirmish or Multiplayer, and a new Mod Selection feature, which allows several new game types, such as Fast Build, Rapid Fire and Zero Gravity. Also included are Truce mods, which provide a period of varying lengths in which players can build up their forts in peace, before they start blasting each other into oblivion. All this, and the previously released Steam Workshop integration, comes free to Forts owners and increases the fort building possibilities of the game. Enjoy!

In my opinion, cannons are the best thing to have on a fort. The enemy can't shoot down the projectiles, they do area of effect damage, and they are just AWESOME!!!
Especially mixed with lazers. The two of them deal different types of damage, and a barrage of each mixed is devastating.
@@eliusswordofblaze8866 true, but there is one flaw with using lazers; they can be bounced right back at you. If the enemy manages to reenforce their entire outer defenses with energy barriers, lazers will do nothing, unless they are positioned at a certain angle. A round from a connon will punch right through that and just about anything behind it as well. Heck, have a three-stage cannon battery, where they each fire simultaneously after one another in the same spot, eating through whatever is in their way!!!!!
Get rockets (upgraded to red mandms)early and just shoot them but keep up the technology and they will be way behind because they will be focused on AA and repairs
Hmm, nice. But Baron will have to keep on continually firing so he can keep the enemy busy, it is likely they would be firing back. So he needs to upgrade armour as well. So, continuing to fire upon the enemy is the trick.

That "gunship" is a arquentins light cruiser, while you were useing a providence heavy cruiser.

shavy not all providence class ships had hangers, they were front line heavy cruisers first and foremost, the droid control ships (the big doughnut ships) were more proper carriers.
its actually a "destroyer" which is so irritating, I hate the way star wars names its ship classes willy-nilly, its NOT A DESTROYER, it doesn't act like one, it is not the smallest ship-o-the-line. Sorry for the rant but yes it is called a destroyer/carrier but it IS more like a heavy cruiser.

PRO TIP: use your fireBeam to shoot your rockets before they hit the target to make them more explosive, I know it works with the swarm rockets but you should try it with different ones.

Challenge idea: do a battle but you are not allowed to ad things to the outside so the thing you have looks the same on the outside and you can of course make the outside metal but no building outside.

The Providence class destroyer for the CIS is among my favorites of my Clone Wars ships.

Reason the misiles are not placeable in this case is because Martion gravity affects the way they travel in air causing them to drop in altitude extreamly rapidly.basicly throwing a anvil at the target would be more aucurate then the misiles would be

when you do double metal doors to armour the rockets and lasers you can also do cross over doors

Tips : 1 weapons do not block air for wind turbines 2 focus on 1 type of weapon, do not build random wind turbines but build a hole background bracing level and a shield in front and if you use the scattershot commander and spam shields, only emp + weapon or rockets / missiles / warheads, as well , use a tiny bracing section in front of doors so the enemy can't see you opening them : THE END

yo you should do lord of the rings, like helms deep, minas tirith, oskilias or however you spell it and the assault on mordor. thats just a few but theres tons of differnet maps you can create same goes for Game of Thrones

He started out as a CIS Providence Class Destroyer, ended up a Mandalorian Kandosii class Dreadnaught...either that or something out of 40k

Unabotanium isnt a metal. It's a concept. Any metal that is technically unobtainable or not possible is Unobtanium. So Durasteel [The Star Wars super steel] Would be Unobtanium for us but not to them.

In the beginning it was a Republic Arquitens-class cruiser facing a Confederacy of Independent Systems Providence-class capital ship. Also, at 2:48, that is the observation deck, not the bridge. The bridge is on the bow.

Just wanted to say the long part of the ship poking out where you have a lot of your fans isn't the bridge the bridge is the part where you put your schedules at.
Barron you should use shields to reflect the lasers back at them
For the next round find a place that's very low under your ship or high above your ship and that should have a lot of efficiency for energy and also you should make a laser upgraded super duper High and then fire it at the very last moment when you're struggling and they won't know you have it it'll be a big surprise and it'll just slaughter them and always get an EMP missile with laser because if they have shields it'll put it out
The wind turbine needs front and back to not be blocked, shields do not block wind but the turbine infont of your core is still blocked.
Baron, you can make the blast doors at an angle which will give more resistance than just flat blast doors.
Baron try using fire lasers and rockets (red mandems)against wooden base it would be devastating

Maybe if you’d have removed a few layers above or below the rocks in the middle of the ship then you could’ve installed swarm missiles either up or down?
Maybe a map with a big stone wall in the middle and some watchtowers to fire missiles ? 🤔
