I've yet to see an example of someone giving chase and getting closer or even capturing any of these strange beings. If you're intending to capture irrefutable video evidence for the phenomena, then it would be necessary to pursue the target and either corner it or provoke it to retaliate in a manner that allows for more concrete evidence. I often wonder why the narrator is so dead set on framing these incidents in spooky life threatening terms. It's not very logical or useful to suggest that people should cut and run away just at the moment of discovery. For most of these types of reports about strange and unusual sightings there is more an air of theater and not much of serious inquiry. Clearly there is more under heaven on Earth than is understood in our mundane and conventional consensus. However, we will never get to the bottom of what it may be, if this is the best that people can do to document the events they witness. I suspect that the vast majority of these submissions are contrived set pieces designed to misinform, misdirect, and deceive people, possibly to obfuscate and confuse the population from the very real and nefarious activities that are being conducted all around the planet by groups that are attempting to replicate the kind of genetic manipulation that took place in the distant past of our history. There is abundant evidence that some ancient advanced societies had the knowledge and technology to design and create hybrid organisms that mixed DNA from disparate species in order to engineer living cryptids or chimeric creatures for reasons we have yet to understand.
