And the Power Rangers, the Transformers, even the stupid "We transform for minutes, that one can even spin for minutes."-based crazy space chicks (who were mistaking Jamie for Coop)... Awesome parodies with awesome story, awesome animation, awesome jokes, badass slayer soundtrack and not this crappy virtually composed mess we have today most of the time. This was something children nowadays can't experience in TV anymore soon. The peak of Western TV shows was at the start of the 2000's. I hope it will once get a reboot, a worthy one, or a spin-off with a bit more serious content with the same taste of humour and with more episodes. God bless the everyone who worked on this, and of course, who watched it.
The fact that this series is literally impossible to legally own is a crime.
Fanmade Bootlegs
miss the good old times with this cartoon not only this ed edd n eddy , smurai jack when i was little these were the best things to watch :) want to bring this time back
@CSK Gamer yea
@CSK Gamer well it took ages for samurai Jack to get a proper ending
Hell i remember watching this and Static Shock back to back....good times. We don't talk about Totally Spies >.>
@@Zarryon12 totaly spies was killed after the first or second season...was a decent show but not something i would want to rewatch again XD.......didn't get to see Static Shock episodes...was never diffuse at hours i could watch...or maybe was on the same timing as nother show i watched....cant remember...been way too many years ago....i need to watch Static Shock someday..... from the only 1 episode i got to see i know its worth to.....Megas XLR was nice..on my "the fk lul" list rewatched the show online at some point but it felt incomplete after the last ep :S
How awesome was Megas XLR?
It made Jersey look awesome!!!
THIS IS THE SHOW MY CHILDREN WILL SEE WHEN I INTRODUCE THEM TO BIG KID CARTOONS!!
big kids ? feed them some Mortal Kombat or anything super gory along Megas :)...Megas is any age rly
@@bllllood By “Big Kids”, I mean not something you would see on a station/programming block ending in “Jr.” The shows they can watch without needing a diaper or pull-up change before the commercial break.
This show went so hard and I love it. You can hear how much love they had for 90s punk, definitely inspired by The Offspring.
I love how the opening riff kinda starts like an engine
You know things get real whenever a show plays the full theme. (Coop teaming up with the Glorf to fight Evil Coop & Evil Kiva)
My very first thought was the Shacktron battle from Gravity Falls... which incidentally, fits well with this since it's _also_ a giant robot.
They certainly don’t make shows with this high level of quality anymore.
Megas XLR forever!
2000s TV, while not as good as 80s and 90s, still had some great shows like this one. TV now is so bad that I wouldn't even dare ask for a revival of this masterpiece.
This show deserved so much better than CN gave it
This and Motorcity is literally why I grew up loving cars
This show deserved so much more
If there is an American cartoon that I would bring back with the magic of a wish, it would be this one.
Remember when cartoons were actually good?
yes i do ^^
Yes
Back in the early 2000's Cartoon Network was lit. Then around 2008 it started to go to shit.
when nick had cartoons
not just good my man, this one was punk af
I discovered This show a week ago and i Can't stop listening to the opening.
And about coop, You're not gonna find a More relatable character if you like:
-Videogames.
-Eating.
-Smashing Things.
& -The color Red.
Damn I wish I could get a giant robot for 2 bucks
This song speaks to me in ways no other has before.
It speaks of the ultimate truth.
That we dig giant robots?
@@lazarmarinkovic8486 Exactly . That's the ultimate truth, bro
@@lazarmarinkovic8486 of course
One of the best shows on Cartoon Network. Too bad it's been replaced by stuff like Teen Titans Go. I've got nothing against that show, but Megas is a hell of a lot better.
Preechin to the choir
Between this and symbiotic titan being cancelled unceremoniously I think someone at cartoon network had a grudge against giant robots and awesomeness.
@@vonfaustien3957 Cartoon Network has a disturbing mix of nepotism, sycophants, and cronyism between all the management, artists, voice actors, etc. They only hire people they know and apparently sleep with as there was a case of VD spreading among certain staff members.
@@IdleDrifter That sounds like a high school graduating class masquerading as a corporation.
I never hated or even disliked TTG, but I just watched TT again on DVD, and I'm salty af now. Lol

You gotta find first gear
In your giant robot car!
"You dig giant robots!"
they should make a live action where cris pratt is coop
Not fat enough, now Tyler Lambert would be PERFECT!
Put Chris Pratt on a McDonald's diet for a month and you got the perfect Coop.
Used to be.
Jack. Black.
@@KillerBlaze ya. ya. that would fit really well actually.
Glad to see that people still remember this awesome show!
I had this intro song MEMORIZED senEs I was a fucking KID! I blame Megas and Republic commando for my present day choice of music! :)
In Brazil this series was very successful due to excellent dubbing, especially the Brazilian voice actor of coop.
you cant do wrong with guilherme briggs

Steven's always like "THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP!!!"
My man Coop has a GIANT ROBOT CAR
A Highly underrated show, Has its serious moments and its comedy, Absolutely a hilarious and good show for its time of 2004.
the banger that keeps on giving
I make it a tradition to watch this every 5 years and it's funnier everytime lol.
I randomly found this. I don't know what this show is, but I want to watch it now.
WTF it has Bruce Campbell too? Groovy. I have to watch this now!
@@systemreb00ted I watched it as a kid, still holds up pretty well after watching as an adult
The theme always takes me back to the feeling when I was a kid and seeing the show air for the first time. I get goosebumps every time, some heavy nostalgia man.
Its fucking crazy how this thing influenced a few generations even without getting the traction it deserves.
You'll never guess what this button does!
The intro is so on the nose because it knows it's audience and that's the best part. Who doesn't love giant robots?
a fucking masterpiece
This is just great childhood!!!! Thankyou MEGAS XLR someone else in 2019??
Here in 2023 still diggin giant robots
Nostalgia!! The good days are gone without M.E.G.A.S XLR 12
Gotta love how nearly 3 minutes of the track is just [insert sick guitar riffs].
This show was cool as fuck.
I'm guessing that's Kiva on Megas's shoulder

Cartoon classic
Coop: Alright listen here you mechanical freaks. You attack this city, stack the odds against me, and you scratch the paint on my robot. Now I'm mad

Coop: It's Smashing time

Ahh. Saturday nights, eating pizza and watching Toonami. Take me back to those days please God!!!
Second to The Powerpuff Girls (classic).
I hardly ever watched this show and I can't say I even liked it that much, but every so often this theme song just floats back into my brain for no reason whatsoever.
YOU dig giants robots :)(rebooting into your brain :D)
LOOL SAME. I never cared for the show but here is the theme song in my mind.
Chicks dig giant robot cars , this song would never get green lit today in 2023
Here is my 2nd verse attempt.
"When your living with parents life is kinda rot.
Until you end up finding your own Giant Robot.
You Find Giant Robot
You Fix Giant Robot
Get In Giant Robot
Chicks in Giant Robot

2023 Keep digging GIANT robots!!!!!!!
2022 gang! How many still listening to this banger and digging it? Just like we dig giant robots!
There’s only two shows from my childhood that deserve a reboot:
Tron uprising
And
MEGAS XLR.
this show was a 22 minute thrill ride and rarely let it’s foot off the gas. God I miss television like this.
You and me both buddy!
This series needs another season with the same graphics and opening theme and scenario..!! That cartoon was pure perfection
This show needs a come back. And DVD release. MAKE IT HAPPEN CARTOON NETWORK, NO ONE WANTS MORE TEEN TITANS GO.

It's best that it shouldn't because it would be festering with political correctness and shitty modern humor
