She's doing her best to project power and authority, but if you watch her chest you can see she's _panting._ She isn't doing anything to be breathing that hard, but the silent treatment has her in panic mode. Simply by not acting intimidated, you've scared her. If you don't just comply there's no telling _what_ you'll do.

Silent treatment videos are always some of the best because it's hilarious to watch cops short circuit and have no clue what to do when people don't engage with them. Most of their power is getting people to talk and react. So if you don't do either of those two things you rob a cop of a lot of their power and ability. They're left with either leaving or getting violent as they're only to ways to force their authority upon you.

The silent treatment has several benefits. 1) it removes the possibility of a cop getting you to inadvertently say something incriminating, 2) it avoids the inevitable debate and circular discussion as the police try to find some way to charge you with something, even when they know you’ve committed no crimes and, 3) it really pisses them off and removes their perception of power and control over a citizen, which is what they value the most. To them, they are the bosses and we are the lowly peasants, required to do what they command.

I'm sure the CA state has some training for security guards certification, but Allied has their internal training called EDGE
which makes it clear that as a guard your authority ENDS once you are OFF THE SITE PROPERTY THAT YOU GUARD.
You have ZERO authority off site and on public property! The only time you should engage the public on public property is if there is something like a medical emergency or accident where you have the ability to render aid or assistance to help someone in distress until the proper emergency response and EMS arrive.
