It’s about time! I’ve been checking every day for your next video! Lol
Enjoy these videos so much! The banter back and forth in the older videos was great! Glad to see y’all back.

Thanks! These videos are something I do for fun, so when I'm busy, they don't happen. Always glad to hear from you!

Thursday Night Gamers I know it’s a lot of work; I’ve done a few videos myself, so I understand the time it requires. You guys have probably really increased the sales of these games by during the videos. The dialogue between the players is a big highlight for me. Great y’all have each other to enjoy these games. I’ve been playing military war games for over 35 years and pretty much entirely solitaire; not many gamers in my city. Keep churning out the videos! Thanks for putting the time in. How does the new artillery rules effect strategy in this battle? Looks like a lot of clear terrain to bring up the guns and blast away.

@@cryhavoc1124 These videos have helped to get me to purchase the games. Also to learn the rules. You don't live near Huntsville, Alabama do you? And there is always VASSAL.

Finally!! Coming Storm is still my favourite box set of the series...

Yeah, every battle in the box is amazing. The only weak spot are the maps by Joe Youst... they're gorgeous, but there are terrain oddities that hadn't been ironed out yet. You forget what a perfect blend of art and functionality Charlie's maps are when you go back.

Why would the Prussians ever give Napoleon enough time to gain space on the plateau above Jena? If they had attacked him vigorously on the 13th they could have pushed him off the plateau, or very early on 14th with a bigger force they could have stymied his attack by pushing him back so there is no room for his reinforcements on the plateau .
They also could have consolidated Ruchel & Brunswick’s forces with Hohenlohe’s around Jena and outnumbered Napoleon’s available forces at the start of the battle (and been on even terms once Napoleon’s reinforcements did arrive).

Thank you for the videos. Subscribed. I currently play Hexasim's Last Eagles series. I also have OSG's The Habit of Victory.
I've always been a WW2 gamer but I found myself wanting to learn all I can about Napoleon Bonaparte. And the history is so rich with all kinds of events...I'm hooked.
The horns at the beginning of your videos...what is this called? Marching music?

@@moellerc1 I'm trying to find the name of the trumpets/horns playing at the beginning of video. Do you know? I love the sound of it.

Barry, I got all my napoleonic march music from chuck, and unfortunately its not attributed. I asked chuck and he said that opening piece was entitled “overture”. Not very helpful. Maybe our other subscribers know what it’s called?

@@moellerc1 That's a start. I will find it one way or the other. Thank you much. Love listening to this music while reading about the Napoleonic Wars or playing the games.
