      Yeah I am with you. The Manchester United rules need to go. The rules are anti competitive and are just to keep top teams at the top. They know if any business can sponsor then Saudi oil company goes on front of jersey and billions go into the coffers and FFP doesn’t mean crap. Of course when Mike Ashley was direct sporting and paying league two money for the right to do it the league was just fine with it. I hate the hypocrisy of the FA.

      Haha no doubt, let's just turn football into a circus, absolute disgraceful concept

      Make them join the conference league and allow them to have promotions to league 2 league 1 and championship but they are never allowed back in premier league

      If sponsorships become unlimited, this league turns into Scottish league and will only be between two teams every season, city and Newcastle, this win would kill football and lose fans in the process

    Absolute rubbish from Wyness Football is not above competition law and given all clubs are businesses, registered at Companies House they have to abide by the Competition Act 1998. Clubs have a right to challenge rules they think is unlawful.

    • @LevyHappyClapper
      @LevyHappyClapper 3 месяца назад

      Competition law is about spending as much as you want ?

    • @randomprecision4125
      @randomprecision4125 3 месяца назад

      @@LevyHappyClapper yes if owners of businesses can afford to there is nothing stopping them as long as all monies are legal and show in company accounts.
      Of course football thinks it’s different, it isn’t, it has to abide by UK Law and making rules that stifle, hinder or block competing business can be legally challenged.

  • @garyd7039
    @garyd7039 3 месяца назад

    If the rules are not lawful ie anti competitive they have to be changed so they are lawful and the texts are about officials from clubs lobbying against Newcastle takeover and then about rushing rule changes to obstruct them growing.

    • @LevyHappyClapper
      @LevyHappyClapper 3 месяца назад

      the rules are the rules ... just because Newcastle wants to be able to spend billions does not make the rules anti competitive

    • @garyd7039
      @garyd7039 3 месяца назад

      Rules are the rules but when they are unlawful the law trumps any rule.

    Sadly this is one of the most nonsensical things I have ever read.
    The City fans, decided as they are, would not be in any way happy about this.
    If you think that City or Liverpool or Newcastle or arsenal or spurs fans would countenance such a stupid move you too are deluded.
    The only team that may consider doing this is Man U. Who have a man in charge in Ratcliffe who knows all about making cash but zero about the game.
    This plus they keep bragging about being the biggest club in the world this is a two edged sword because their main fan base is not here it's in China and Korea and Japan and India and Malaysia etc etc. These would rather watch them play Bayern or Barcelona or Milan or PSG every week rather than Brentford or Bournemouth.
