I know exactly the thing about cutting when you have time and finding distractions helps prevent it. It's why I think that under most circumstances going to the mental ward is counter productive.
What a inspirational story! It's nice to hear someone's story that has a positive outcome! And how right he is in saying there is light at the end of the tunnel! It might take some searching and a bit of time! But it's so worth it! Self harm was a very big part of my life and after nearly 15 years (I'm 20) I can see the light! You have to reach the bottom sometimes to get back to the top! It's been the longest in the whole 15 years I've gone without any form of self harm! 7 months, and It's bee
I found this video very helpful with a facebook page I started called Stay Strong. Keep Fighting. what is a Self harm awareness page and where someone can come to talk and know they are not alone. I set a event up for self harm awareness and was looking for some videos to post. I posted my story but was looking for facts and other stories to post on the wall to help the people that have never had a past with self harm can understand better about what self harm is,why we do it.

The nights are the worst time to cope with emotions, I can relate to that one.

At least he has a girlfriend, I'm too disgusting for anyone to be with me so I never let myself get close to a guy.
