The thing I love most about Angelina is the difficulty in trying to pigeon-hole her in any way: genre, vocal style or the stories she portrays in her music. The element of surprise and exploration in her art is so refreshing that I will accept less than perfect accoustics and production. Coming from a jazz background we accept this over the perfect but often mind numbing mechanics of so much pop music today. Few artist can cover so much ground in a single concert like Angelina can and no one today can evoke such emotion like she does time and again. ❤

Angelina is the best singer whose music we’ve all come to love. BTW… it’s good to see you walking the beaches of Hawaii again. Very nice Chris. I didn't make any of the concerts, but of the four that were held, I most wish I could have made this last, Christmas, concert. But I still have a job and her family gives very little time for her fans who are already engaged during that same time period to make the adjustments in our schedules to allow for this event. I have a feeling I'm out of luck for the USA for a while, that it's Europe, here we come time. Other than that, no quibbles with your top 10. I think we will see a bunch of new material from both her an Toby this year. I just hope the world starts to notice this amazing young lady.

Great video Chris. I think we all had hoped that 2023 might be her breakout year with the release of her “album” which ended up just being an EP. However with little to no promotion, despite it being outstanding, it was relatively unnoticed by the general public. 2024 was kind of up and down. She had 3 great concerts however if not for her work with Toby there might not have been any releases this year. It’s hard to tell if her career advanced. Maybe there are big things ahead for 2025. She seemed very excited about the upcoming “news”. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long. Maybe she will breakout one day or maybe she’ll just be a niche star. As great as her covers are, I personally would prefer that she do more of her own music including in her concerts. I think that’s what will attract new fans more than cover songs. It will be interesting to see how she markets herself, what type of music she focus on and what type of fans she tries to attract. We shall see.

The Nobel Peace Prize concert and the Ball in Paris were actually in late 2023 which was an even bigger year for Angelina. It included her appearances at the FIFA awards and Germany’s Next Top Model, her song Our Time being used in a nationwide TV ad, her first headlining U.S. concert, her Christmas EP and of course the release of her Old Enough EP. The only real down side of 2023 is that the release was not a full album and she didn’t have the big breakout we thought she might have.
