That was a super interesting comparison! I must admit that in the past I was super into archer and olive, but their pricing is now outrageous, especially as they used to have a similar manufacturer as NT (the company is easy to find on aliexpress and wish, and when you look at the notebooks, some of the oldest A&O designs are.... Regulars designs from this company! The two key crossed for example) As i fell into the fountain pen rabbit hole, i also stopped using these notebooks because the paper is a bit too porous and suck my pens dry as a blotter 😅 but overall, i'd probably go with notebook therapy nowadays, because their pricing is more logical and their international fees are OK
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I don’t have very much experience using fountain pens on these pages, but I have heard that you’d want specific paper for them. But I do agree, I was pretty disappointed when Archer and Olive increased their prices within the past couple of years. I still haven’t decided what to do for next year’s bullet journal in terms of which brand, but there’s still time for things to change.
Archer and Olive has priced themselves above my budget with their outragous shipping costs for international shipping. I can get a Notebook Therapy beautiful quality Journal, exceptional washi and stickers and free postage. I have had archer and olive and honestly, there’s nothing better about the a & o to me in any aspect. Pen loops on temu are 10 for 3$.
I can only imagine how expensive they must be to ship internationally /: but I’m glad that you’ve had great experience with Notebook Therapy and can continue to get them! That’s awesome that you can get pen loops from Temu for that price! Have you been able to try them out?
I went to NT because of the same reason, BUT even after I bought and paid for one from NT they then sold out a few weeks later and when I emailed about not receiving my notebook, they told me that they basically forgot about my order. Totally unacceptable imo. So I guess I’ll never know if I like a NT journal. 🤷🏼♀️

I’m so sorry to hear about your poor experience, that’s very unprofessional in my opinion. /: I really hope that Archer and Olive will start restocking their journals again because even though I find that Notebook Therapy’s journals are comparable, I’ve been a longtime fan of Archer and Olive. Have you been able to find journals elsewhere?
@@UnprintedbyJackie I just ordered a couple of gorgeous ones from @leelajournals . I haven’t gotten them yet, but they have all the same specs from what I can tell and are just stunning! (And there is always Scribbles that Matter that comes in a b5 as well! But they don’t have pretty designs like the other companies) if only archer and olive wouldn’t only do limited stock launches! That would be great!

A & O is opening a warehouse and is moving their inventory there. Do your research before you call them lack luster🙄
I did, their inventory has been very empty for the first half of this year. Two things can be true at once.
