Good video with no bg music unlike others. Muffler delete is the winner when comparing exhaust sound, but I still prefer the stock if living in quiet neighborhood. But my choice of E9x M3 would be obviously the one with manual tran.

I DIDN'T KNOW YOU TRAVELED AROUND THIS AREA AS I KNOW THE COMMUTE FROM ATLANTA TO CANTON CAN BE A DRAG (no pun intended) That being said, The E92 M3 & E60 M5 are EASILY my favorite cars of all-time, and I was so so lucky to drive a 08 6-Speed Manual M3 back in 2016 at a dealership, wasn't planning on buying it. I just e-mailed them & told them it was my dream car with a long message, and they allowed me to drive it, haha! I sold my 1993 Toyota MR2 last year, and while I loved it, I just wanted something much faster. The E92 M3 has just as good handling as my MR2 did and is way way way faster though The Mid Engine Placement of my MR2 can never be replaced, so I will dearly miss it. This year, in 2021, I'm saving up for an E92 M3 and would love either a Alpine White or Melbourne Red with a DCT. I HOPE to buy one from an enthusiast, so I know its' well taken care of rather than a car dealer. I also hope the rod bearings are either recently replaced, and if not, I'd need to know so I get it done ASAP. It'd be my daily from my house to work ,about it with an occasional fun acceleration pull ;). I'm nervous, but so ready! Yeah exactly, this is behind hobby lobby/party city! If you’re on Facebook, you should join the “bmw e9x v8 owners club”. A lot of well maintained examples come up for sale if you haven’t bought one yet. Especially white ones. Melbourne red will be harder to find but man do they look sexy. That was the original color I wanted. There is a red E90 M3 that lives off of sixes road that I see often and it is an amazing color on that car. I hope you can find yourself a great example! Unfortunately the demand on these have shot up and they are getting more expensive, especially for the E90s. Also be prepared to replace the throttle actuators if you can’t find one with those already replaced. Around 95k I started getting a code for those, but many others start getting it much earlier. I would be more concerned about the throttle actuators than the rod bearings. Finding one from a private seller who properly warmed up the car and changed the oil regularly would ease my mind. I replaced the bearings on my M5 from an owner that took good care of it and they looked really good at 115k.

Is the oem mod where you keep the mufflers but take out the insulation from inside?
Yes exactly
Not really, you basically cut the pipes that go to the middle of the muffler and replace them with a straight on to the tips. Correct me if it’s wrong

E9x refers to all 3 chassis E90, E92, and E93. They all share the same muffler/exhaust.
