    I enjoyed this! This is exactly how a jam with a large number of pickers should be done - give EVERYONE a break, and play quiet backup when they are doing so. To often everyone will just try to overpower each other, and keep the song to maybe 5 or 6 breaks, then end it, kind of like what happens at the Station Inn more than not!

    I LIKE THIS TRADITIONAL WAY OF PLAYING THE MELODY, AND VARIATIONS OF THE MELODY, SUCH THAT YOU ALWAYS CAN TELL WHAT SONG IS BEING PLAYED. UNLIKE A LOT OF THE NEW STUFF WHERE THEY PLAY A THOUSAND NOTES, BUT NO MELODY . WELL DONE

      Sorry for late reply. His name is Takumi Kodera. He won the 2nd place of the Walnut Valley National Bluegrass Banjo Championship of this year.
