Great review! I subbed. I’m a big lt wright fan and own 3. One I would recommend is the lagom. Slightly smaller but very nice. Available only at a bushcraft store. As to the heat treat, lt sends it out to a guy who specializes in that. He has a vid on that either on his site or Blind Horse knives, his former company. Btw, I don’t plan on batoning, but it’s important to be able to in an emergency without risking damage to your knife.
Hi. I have been watching and enjoying a couple of your uploads. Can i ask you is that LT Wright genesis still your favourite knife. Also i see it also comes with liners in the handle which i believe makes the handle slightly thicker. Would you know anything about the ones with the liners as i am trying to decide on buying a genesis
I personally haven't used the versions that have liners but I think it's much of a muchness as their handles are already full. I wholeheartedly recommend the Genesis and to this day I gave yet to find better and doubt there is.
@@eagleridge1972 thanks very much for your reply. I asked you cause i believe you know your stuff.. I dont need such a knife as the genesis. I just like the idea of having one.. thanks again. Im in Galway myself.
I surely do wish I were in your area so I could take your course. There are so many instructors out there, but few-very few- exude such credibility.

Excellent video!
Just curious, if you use the spine of the knife as your ferro rod striker, does the spine/knife take any wear?
Thanks!
I have the genesis coming do you think the polished scales will be ok on the grip or do you think they will be slick
Polished scales should be absolutely fine. Let me know how it works out.
Let's see the lt wright gen 3 i own one saber grind know that's a dragon among the lions.
