I’ve never bought a mystery bag because there is always colors I need for a project I’m doing or want to do… but if I had a lot of money & lived in a big house instead of a tiny cottage then I’d be buying mystery bags❣️ How much fun to be surprised? Especially if you have mad skills like Crystal… whatever she gets she can figure out how to make something beautiful out of it❣️ I loved the pinks & the one with fall colors & teal/turquoise color balls❣️ My granddaughters love pink & purples & light & dark teal & turquoise. I love stitch markers, didn't know about them until i started trying to knit, they work to hold my stitch when I put my project down or away... I love mystery boxes I miss the knit crate boxes, sad they went out of business.

I was happy to hear you say that yarn is getting thinner these days; I was just saying that the other day. You really can’t take the weight to be true. Those yarns I use often I trust, but if I go to try something new I’ve been very disappointed; they classify them as 4 and they’re lucky to be 3 weights. I have 3 small totes of these kinds of yarns to give to our church knitters/crocheters ladies.
I love shopping at Dots. The first one is the best even without seeing the rest. Yes, a new hat with the yellow. I loved it when she put books in them. Nice haul
Thank you for the information about ordering yarn directly from Ice yarns. Just received my first package. With postage it was 197.00. Compared prices on Amazon and would have cost me over 800.00. I love your videos! They have helped me a great deal. I am self taught and still in beginners stage.
Hi Crystal, got my yarn today. I've cast on to make the hat that matches the sleeve scarf. It's knit up flat in garter stitch, then will be sewn together. Love the color of your hat, very pretty. Friday, I'm going downtown to NYC to get my hair done. It's going to rain though so, will have to use my umbrella. There is going to be a Brooklyn Yarn Crawl on Saturday and Sunday. Not sure I want to go to Brooklyn on a Saturday with subway safety not that good lately. I'll think about it but, store I like hasn't dyed anymore of the two colors I want to work with again. I really like those cakes, beautiful colors. Will try and watch the live give away on the 20th at 8pm. Lucky Purl Soho has a tutorial on how to sew up garter stitch. Will watch in again, before I finish the hat. So much fun to watch you open up yarn bags, makes my day more fun. The Alpaca and Mohair work beautifully together, love those colors.
Chrystal,have you ever made a cardigan for a nine year old girl? I'd like to see something like that. I've seen sweaters and things for baby's but haven't found a cardigan for little girls. Ty for the Great teachings though. You truly are a gifted, gracious Lady. Bless you for all you do.
