You could do a long range FPV rally course with this setup. Co-driver doing pace notes, RC helis doing fly by shots, the whole 9. That would be so epic!

great vid! now do it slow and explain it to me like i'm a 3 years old who just learn how to tie his shoes lol. No but seriously, i seems like you have a lot of experience with voltage and other electrical stuff....i'm a complete beginner. A step by step with details would be great! and also how did you connect the sim wheel to the rc? Any plan on doing a system over 4g/5G? Anyway, I just subscribed so keep them coming
Thanks for the interest and support; that brings a ton of motivation. Now, I am focused on making new videos, where I'm going to do very fast laps with the car shown in the video, but I hope to do more videos about how to deal with voltages, wiring, and stuff. And yes, for now, we are not planning to switch to 4G or 5G systems.
I feel like there is audio built in on the Avatar though, or is that just on the recorded video? There are analog VTX’s with built in audio though for sure, so there is an easier solution if you’re willing to forgo HD. But a very cool setup nonetheless, it’s almost a video game.
Audio that you hear in the intro is from walkie talkie, I described it in the video. even the poorest audio quality will significantly improve the driving experience in comparison with no sound. Thanks for coment.
@@linkshox I already have the same fpv system ready to test with the aim of helping me turn it around. Current pb is 207mph. I am really interested to see how the latency will cope. Your sim rig is a whole another level. Again your work is super cool and very interesting 😎 👍
What is the range of this setup? I got back into the world of RC cars recently and have been wanting to do this, and from some other videos on RUclips, it seems some people are getting range in several miles with there cameras, that is what i would like to do if possible, i have a Radiomaster MT12 ELRS transmitter that has that kind of range, but i have no idea what to buy for the FPV system to go with it, at the very least a mile would be good enough, is that even possible or not, have been told its not by a few hobby shops, but from what ive seen on RUclips it seems it is, if you have the money for it anyway, im on a tight budget, but if i ever come into a good amount or can save up long enough i would love to do this, its actually kinda why i got back into it after 20+years 😂, things have certainly changed alot over the years , any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated, awesome setup you have with the steering wheel and everything too, gives driving rc cars a whole new perspective and looks like endlees fun.
We tested this amplifier www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003592133430.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.154.170f1802CYh7Fo But this is only for control (2.4GHz). This FPV camera uses 5.8GHZ, and by default it has 4 km range, with no obstacles in between. I am pretty sure that there are some amplifiers for 5.8ghz too, that can significantly increase the range. But still, you have to experiment with various antennas. Thanks for the comment, stay tuned , there will be a video about this topic.
What car is this? Your steering rack, axle carriers & front & rear arms look identical to my Great Vigor- Rambo. £120 when i crashed & needed arms Taiwan was the only place with parts the car is 15-20yrs old i think
@linkshox have you tried getting parts yet? 🦄 💩 is easier to find😂 Taiwan was only place. But we have both learnt a different model with same diffs & arms to help us. Make a note of mine if you're stuck getting parts. Its (G.V.) Great Vigor- Rambo
nice job i did my X-maxx with the dji o3 system but ya i had same thing with sound if remember right they feed to the ESC because they are mostly fly drone parts an so like you i jump that an put an old phone in it to record sounds 👍
Thank you!! Phone will have too much latency. You better add an analog 'fpv' which supports audio(they cost around 50usd), or add a walkie talkie for instant sound.
ya is only there to record i mix it in the video in after since am still using the dji headset or i might of looked into the speedybee setup @@linkshox
What is stopping us from creating a 4 car fpv setup and race around a track? i have not seen anyone do that on youtube is there any issue? That it would be wild
@@twistedyogi Yes, there were quite a few challenges, but we've managed to solve most of them. The system now supports up to 24 competitors at the same time. Your idea is great, and we're working on bringing it to life. Cheers!

Nitri cars are fast and can be refueled and ran right away, but they are too much hassle and messy lol, electric, especially with how much it's improved is the way to go, just gotta wait for batteries to charge, but if you have several there is little down time between run time and recharging, just as fast as nitro now too
Yes, but not completely. This ESC is designed for 6s battery and off road trucks, since i am running it on 4s battery on smooth asphalt, it will not work under heavy loads , therefore the ESC should not be overheated.
Thanks for noticing that, but actually serbian and russian language has very similar accent, my mother language is serbian. I was able to understand your comment without translating it to serbian

Latency is ultra low, around 10mS, which is faster than DJI fpv system.
