In my teaching career of over 20 years, I have been asked many times by parents how their child should approach an English Language Paper 1 question (Continuous Writing / Composition). I share this post, hoping it will be of help to you and that you will enjoy the story.
Note:
Time limit for both Continuous Writing & Situational Writing is 1h10min
Typically, about 50-55 min should be spent on the CW
Suggested timing for CW:
Planning - approximately 5min
Writing - approximately 35-40min
Checking - approximately 10min
