I think this stage is the best. Everyone really shines with their own aura. Walker was so smart for choosing them. It's a pity because some of them are eliminated. They're born to perform and I can see that everyone enjoyed the stage. It's a rock!!!!
Zhongjunyi is very outstanding, can sing well, rap and dance excellently as well his just a complete package and a total performer🤍 manifesting for your smooth debut one!
If you watch the original by Rain, the whole performance was carried through 'vibe' and because the boys took the mentor's advice to focus on synchronisation, they had to compromise a bit. You may disagree with me but the taking of that advice may have impacted the performances (even Rain's background dancers were never synchronised). If you think closely, there is a reason why no one has adapted the song to a group performance, the song is that difficult to pull off... I want to say they did very well given how difficult the task was.
Although I think ZZT tends to give quite good advice, this one was a bit of a miscalculation. I think like you said, all the judge's criticism was about a lack of letting loose and a lot of it because they choose to focus on synchro. Or maybe it was a hard interpretation to begin with. I think it's just unfortunate you can only compare it to the original since like u said there are no group covers for LA song
