This really helped dial in the phase on my sub (which is crossed at the avr with the mains at this frequency). I just let this play and adjusted the distance 1 ft at a time until it was as loud as it would go before starting to get softer again. It was like a 10dB shift at this frequency! I was shocked at how much bass I had been missing. Thanks for posting this bro! (Wish it was like 10x as long though. Would make it a little easier.😊)
Its all good until an ad popped up lol, it scared the heck outta me... i mean imagine im on Full volume and then an Ad pops up... *It's all coming back is it?*
I saw a set of KLH speakers at the Goodwill. I checked the frequency response and it says they only go from 90hz to 20khz. I would have preferred 20hz for lower bass tones. But is 90hz still fairly okay for using them for audio mixing?
If you're not working with frequencies lower than that. Me, personally, I'd consider 40hz to be mediocre. Ninety hertz is like a toy. My 8'' sub hits 38hz, and I'm about to get a 12'' that goes down to 29hz, and that's _still_ not considered to be exceptional, merely good. I'd say that the average pop song should require at least something in the 40-60hz range.
I love this one. Such a perfect background hum.
Thanks this help by having a tone that is constant you can listen for those gaps than having a tone that is changing.
There is literally a constant flow of air coming out of my speaker
well yeah, that is what speakers do
Its air of netrons lmao

I've discovered this is the LFE crossover point of most (well, many) amp's LFE output jack. So your sub would output this, and below.
this is exactly my rooms resonance frequency
Spent the last hour chasing and correcting this resonance...Kilmat to the rescue
Put at full volume and hum with headphones on pretty cool
I just did that. And I was not disappointed
i sound like a boat hahaha

Sounds like a hard drive spinning
@@Dragon-zu2we my old hard drive was 5400rpm so 90rps, my current one is 7200rpm which is 120rps
@@techrickyross Is ninety rotations per second the same as ninety hertz?
@@Selrisitai not the same, but it will create a 90 hz frequency because it spins 90 times a second.
This is nice. It is a good hum
This is the lowest note I can vocally hit. (F²)
