Been looking for a system for, planning for a very long time. I learned allot from this video. I will watch this again as I don’t think I understood all the workings. Probably because the concept is so unfamiliar. But makes excellent sense. Cheers Vancouver Island Canada.
I’ve been using the Time Sector System for maybe 18 months at least and it works. As Carl says, it simplifies things for me and I don’t need to waste time tinkering with it. I wouldn’t go back to using any other approach.
I'm curious Carl - where do your routines go in your today's focus - or do you leave them in the ordinary today view - putting out the bin, or daily planning / daily shutdown?
Over the years, my "routines" have become habits, and as soon as I am confident I'm not likely to forget something as it's habitual, I remove it from my task manager. Thoae that are not habitual live in a folder called "routines".
Ooh no, no, no 😁 Evernote's a notes app. And as a notes app it works fantastically. Todoist is a task manager and as a task manager works brilliantly, Switch those roles around and neither work well at all.
Good stuff as always Carl!
Thank you.

You're very welcome, James.
Great video
Thank you. Glad you liked it.
Great video Carl - quick question…. Where can I find a consolidated list of the query syntax for filters?
Here you go, Simon. todoist.com/help/articles/introduction-to-filters-V98wIH
I miss todoist. But I’m tied to to do via work rules it does the job just!

Great video Carl 🙌 can I ask why you don't use Evernote tasks? What's the benefits of todoist over evernote tasks?

Carl, why do you prefer apple calendar instead of google?
I've used Apple Calendar for 23 years. It does the job it's meant to do without a lot additonal features I don't need.
@@Carl_Pullein Do you also use the mobile app often or mainly the desktop?
@@TheRealJohnnyCash That's used mainly for collecting.
Hey Carl - How is South Korea there? I hope both you and your wife are safe.
Everything's fine here. I suspect the media are blowing up out of proportion a situation caused by a little too much alcohol. LOL
