As you study English, I’m studying to eventually sit the Japanese language proficiency exam N3 perhaps end of next year. I’m not doing it for work (I’m an environmental scientist) but because I’ve many Japanese friends and homestay families back in Japan that I visit frequently and I want to be able to better communicate with them. Some of them are old and live in Inaka so when I go back I’m usually in places without much English ability. I wish you luck with your studies!

I'm studying psychology to be a counselor eventually. It's been a hard road, my mental and physical health is poor, but with consistent effort and pushing myself bit by bit I'm sure I'll achieve my dream eventually :)

8:14 usually when I’m stressed I dream about the thing that stresses me out. I remember in 8th grade I was failing science, so I constantly dreamt about that class. Maybe that’s what motivated me to pass 😅

Since I'm studying 2 languages at the same time I should give my time to both of them. I also struggle with new vocabularies in English and Japanese. I memorize 50 vocabularies a day. I wanted to memorize 100 per day but EIKEN grade 1 vocabularies are too difficult and I realized 50 is the best amount for me😊 but when I go for the second round, I'm thinking to review 200 vocabs per day! I love talking to you, too! Someday, I wanna do solo trip in your country✨ and yes I do forget how to write difficult kanji sometimes. Especially nowadays, people use computer and smart phone so we don't really hand write, so we often forget it😂

To tell the truth, Psychology in Japan is a little behind compared to other country like U.S. and UK. Also, job offer is limited and the salary is low😭 That's one of the reason I decided to take a break from going to grad school to get clinical psychologist qualification😭
