I just heard this on KJAZZ (LA's Jazz station) today. Wynton Marsalis went full-on New Orleans on this piece to honor his hero, Louis Armstrong! I love it!
@takefive07 I was wondering that too but according to the album it's Wes Anderson, Victor Goines, Walter Blanding and Paul Nedzela on reeds. Not to mention from what I understand Wynton and Branford have had their differences haha
jorgerdzmusic I love New Orleans they have Old Hotels restraunts Music Beer 🍻 Dancing drumming houses burbon street and other fun stuff to do downtown New Orleans
I like this he definitely gave us big easy vibes for real honoring his hometown and musical hero great job Wynton.
