I may not always agree with you, but I think you're doing a great job in sharing your knowledge & perspective with this platform. keep up the good work my man. Hope to see you on the road sometime.
About how much would I spend for a JB4 and how come exactly does it work? I’m completely new to this so I don’t know who to bring it too or how much power a JB4 would give my Q60 Red Sport. As long as it doesn’t give my car any problems I’m fine with it.
Sorry for the late response. I don't know if you checked out my other videos but it's just a glorified boost controller that increases the amount of boost your car runs. All safely under the same stock ECU. You can data log all the parameters of the car and it's been tested and proven to be reliable Plug and Play device
Per Say I get a red sport 16-17 if I find one affordable enough lol would the jb1 be a set it n forget it type just for getting more hp and overall improving performance or would I need that Bluetooth feature aswell
You wouldnt need the bluetooth with the jb 1 since there is only 1 map on it. Its pretty much plug it in and leave it and it will always be running at 3 psi over stock unless you unplug it.
What’s a tune I can plug it and forget it? Not trying to pull my phone out search for a map to go fast can somebody help I’ve yet to receive an answer since I’ve subscribed
I just purchased the AMS Ecutek Bluetooth tune for my Q60S AWD. I’m most likely going to start the process next week. Hopefully it would feel like it’s work 1400 😂
Have u tried doing donuts in your q50 cuz that’s what I do wit mine but everytime I do it the steering gets hard and i have to get it flushed.. is it my car or is it that q50s aren’t made to do donuts?
If you tune both cars that going to be the same power. That's why it's just cheaper to purchase the Luxe premium or silver sport because it's more cost efficient
Boost when u putting your downpipes on? I installed my megans and got the infamous CEL think I fixed the problem but still can't get light cleared getting a scanner to clear it not ready to tune yet
First thing I always make sure they installed it right. Second did you use any oxygen sensor spacers? From what I've seen you can use 1. 90 Bend and 1 straight. 3. What fuel are using and what climate do you live in
@@BoostInMotion 93 octane, just ordered 2 90 bends. My passenger O2 connection wasnt secured. Replugged it now I'm shopping for a reader to clear the CEL.

Thanks for the video! I got the invite to the track day from Midwest Hooligan. To bad it's via NYC and Philadelphia. I'd pay to not take that drive. LOL the 6 hr drive would be more like 9. (GWB).. I also have a commitment that weekend 😕 Keep up the videos 👍
Can you make a video on mpg for the 3.7 I live in Bronx ny and I get 13.6mpg driving like a old guy. City and highway my score is somewhere around 15mpg. A full tank is 200to230mpg is that normal? I know mpg rated is 19city20 highway so many questions infinity doesn’t give a f*** about this..😭😭😭😭
EPA ratings are based on consistent miles an hour of 25 and up. In the city we're averaging 10 to 13 miles an hour on Average. My only recommendation to you is trade your car in and get a used hybrid there getting 20-25 mpinthe city
I have 3.7 as well... I put Stillen intakes on it only... I have a feeling it's killing my MPG I think I need to add exhaust then tune it... And leave it.
You're going to have to purchase it from certain places such as rttuning where they would flash your car based on your current modifications. You would either send them your ECU or you'll have to bring your car in
The only issue is you can beef up the transmission from Level 10 but when it comes down to transmission tuning. The seven-speed just doesn't like to work with you
Boost In Motion Yeah, I not thrilled with the transmission so it makes me think twice about beefing up the HP on this particular car. I want to get a good idea for price and what mods would be needed. Because this car would be amazing with the awd at that power range. 600hp would be no joke
Boost In Motion...why do you have to pick on the 392's? ;) I liked the video, you educated me on these two things a little. I like the red sports, but wish they were a little quicker in stock form. Looks like the JB4 tune will get them down into the low 12's which is were they should be in my opinion considering the MSRP they come at.
Thanks BIM for all you do! So, BIM, how does the JB4 compare to the aFe Power Q50 / Q60 3.0t Scorcher GT Power Module? www.z1motorsports.com/electronics/afe-power-takeda/afe-power-q50-q60-30t-scorcher-gt-power-module-p-13869.html Thanks!

So what you think about a regular silver sport ? With mods or red sport (more $) with mods ?
Great way to explain the differences. Good job bro!
i got a jb1 for my 2020 q50 3.0t and i really don’t feel a difference unless i’m doing something wrong. I might have to return it and get the jb4

Boost In Motion okay I see. I thought you needed to upgrade some other stuff to it. If it’s a plug and play device then I will go for it
Thanks for the input. On the jb4, what kind of gains could be expected hp/torque for a 2018 red sport?
On average 30-60whp depending on fuel
Boost In Motion bro so you can tune and still use jb4 at the same time is better like that
What’s faster?
stock Red sport or 3.0t sport with JB4
jb4 3.0t
@@BoostInMotion so the 300 hp 3.0 luxe AWD with the JB4 would be faster than a stock red sport AWD?
How’s the pedal tuner work? And do you have one??

Are you coming from 300 horsepower or from the red sport
Boost In Motion I have the 2017 Red Sport AWD Q60S.
Hey Boost love the info, if I get a tune can the tuner configure a stock map that I can set it to whenever I go to the dealer for issues?
What is your opinion on the JB-1 ?
Doesn't up rev give you 5 different maps to switch to through cruise control
I wonder how well these q50s and q60s do against mk7 gtis

Explain a little bit better for me red sport versus tuning a 300 horsepower lux?

Anyone had experience with ecutunes for a q50 3.7?
You can do a uprev tune for your car. But before you do make sure you get intakes and high-flow cats/testpipes

Pretty sure you can up the Boost on the Ecutek App on an iPhone.
Looking to get about 650-700 crank HP in my 2018 q60rs awd. What all do you recommend?
You have to talk directly to AMS they have upgraded turbos. An upgrade motor with pistons and rods and all the knick knacks

That's fast, what mph were you running? You could probably hit 11s on Map 6.

Wipe that JB4 garbage off your ECU and get Ecutek

Right, and completely void your warranty. Go for it if you think its worth the risk.
