18:13 the sound of defeat so amazing it was used when all the villains realized they were defeated. Rah’s was the most special because he realized his greatest pupil outsmarted him.
Zimmer and Howard truly created something special with this score. The way they edit instruments to create unique sounds, the rapid drums, and the combination of these 2 composers' styles and themes make this one of the best and most interesting scores to listen to, and one of the best ones ever made.
I agree wholeheartedly. This is one of those cases where less is more-- the musical structures aren't terribly complex or even all that pretty, but the timbre of every individual component is fascinating. Sad we haven't had an album release that does it justice.
psychokitty444. The complete score I got from Le Blog De Chief Dundee I think it was called, is pretty good, but it lacks a few parts like "Courthouse Part 2," and doesn't provide 100% accurate film versions. This makes tracks like "Backup," and "Fight in Crane's Lab Pt. 3" really difficult to edit as those tracks are nothing like their film versions. Plus with some, it's difficult to even notice the film versions are different. Like I didn't know this was any different from my copies of the complete scores. So good on you for catching that! By the way, does this mean you're going to do other film versions of this score?
I was just considering a one-off, but it's a score I love and you at least have responded positively, so I might try other film edits. I've been on Chief Dundee before, but I'm not sure whether I'm navigating correctly or running into a pop-up. Do I need to subscribe/pay for site access?
psychokitty444 I don't think I had to create an account to access it or anything no. If there's a problem with pop ups, there's AdBlock. As for navigating, I usually just go to the index and look for scores to download there, or you can click one of the pictures that has the score poster on it to get more information about the score. EDIT* If you're referring to the download part, you don't have to pay, unless you try to download too many scores at a time. (By the way the Dark Knight Trilogy scores all come in FLAC besides TDKR, so you might need a converter.)

"I won't kill you"
"But I don't have to save you"
The fact that you got the music that plays when Batman hangs from the train is all I need from this video.
