The reason many of us like this ending is that it tells a story in 3 steps: - The first, where Obito is in his "Kamui" dimension, looking up and thinking about his life (and I think some of us would like to teleport to a world like that, alone...) - The second, he thinks of his childhood, a childhood in which he drooled alone with his dreams, but in which he had a pure heart, until he sacrificed himself for his team that represented his only family after his grandmother - And the third, the sudden descent into darkness, the death of her beloved, his pure heart is corrupted, with this music and an sharp violin pressing on the gravity of what happened, followed by : -> The destruction of his native village, because the villages and their political wars destroyed his dreams. -> Fight his only childhood friend, because he betrayed him somewhere. -> Kill his last allies, because he has no confidence and he just wants revenge on this world -> And end up being one against all during the Great War. Because he has always fought life alone after all..... It's a really cruel story... That's why at the end, we saw Obito just close him eye, thinking 1 seconde, and then release the demon, like it was inside him for all this time...
It's a really good description you've made... I think you could have put more weight on his feelings for Rin... After all, his "madness" has started from the death of his beloved One... But anyway, I agree with all your points. If I had lost the girl I loved when I was young... I'd have probably react as he did (not slaughtering anyone but a deep fall into despair...)
The Ten Tails being symbolic of Obito’s rage is the hardest piece of imagery in Naruto. This ending hits on every level and makes me want to put on another episode ever damn time.
The gedo statue rising up the way it did at 1:07 made me feel like it was representing obito, the way it was roaring and had blood running down from its eyes as if it was letting out all pain and rage he endured throughout his life. Definitely one of my top favorite endings by far.

1:05 from then on is just a masterpiece. For one last time, Obito considers his past. It's like he closes his eye to truly think back on everything that's lead up to this. Like there's one last pang of doubt in his mind before it's shredded as Minato and Kakashi fade away. He accepts the path he's on now with a heavy conscience as the statue emerges. My man truly did not deserve the hand of cards he was dealt with.
This ending hits VERY HARD from very start!!! the groove in the singing is Soo chilling, and the moment it starts, you start getting the goosebumps and shivers like I am getting right now!!! 0:30 The way this part is sung seeps to my soul!!! The sadness... Such a hauntingly, unforgettable, catchy ending of Naruto Shippuden, and Obito's story!!!
It’s really sad and depressing. He risked his life to save his best friend. Kakashi promised to protect Rin. Obito comes back after so long to see the person he loves the most die in front of him by his best friend.
Great ending litterally showed Obito's story in 1min. To bad some people are to stupid to realize Obito's true intention and they keep saying "he started a war because his crush died" trying to sound funny even if that joke is so overused
Obito’s backstory is so sad and seeing his past self made me cry. He was the Naruto who lost hope and no one cared about him until he wore the mask. Obito is underrated and one of the best Naruto characters IMO
This ending hits hard cause it shows the sadness, anger, pain, and betrayal that Obito has felt throughout his life and the fact that he was constantly considered the weakling of the Uchiha and he lost the love of his life to his best friend and with no one to guide him back into the light he just descended further into the darkness
What makes it worse is that Kakashi wasn’t Obito’s best friend. Kakashi always belitted Obito, they recently became friends after Obito was crushed by boulders, and Obito entrusts Kakashi his sharingan to keep the most important person in Obito’s life safe, but Kakashi couldn’t do anything to help her.
@@dennyden7612 Man that's right! Like the fact that it was only at the supposed end of Obito altogether that made Kakashi understand is like crazy to me! That panel when Obito is standing in front of Minato and kurama in the back goes hard🔥
Definitely my favorite out of all Shippuden endings like how does this have so much feeling too it geez thank you for the whole Naruto series
This ending is just a masterpiece
An ending that had the potential to become a legendary opening especially the song alone
Tbhhhh it’s only lasted for 10 episodes I wished it could had be longer
Feel The Pain Of *Obito*
It's not just a ending...it tells a stoty...Obito's story.
Lyrics:
Wakatten'da yo
I KNOW VERY WELL
Hoka no daredemo nakute
I UNDERSTAND BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE
Kono sora ippai no niji o kakete miseru yo
.
I'LL SHOW YOU THE END OF THE RAINBOW.
Itsumade tatte mo todo kanai yo
WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO REACH IT?
Ato nankai mo kuri kaesu nichijou
HOW MANY TIMES WILL I HAVE TO REPEAT IT?
Oikaketeru no wa itsuka jibun de egaita mirai
I'LL KEEP CHASING MY PICTURE OF THE FUTURE.
Mata dareka no seini shiteta
AGAIN, I PUT THE BLAME ON SOMEONE ELSE.
Wakatten'da yo
I KNOW VERY WELL
Kono mama ja damena koto
ALL OF THIS IS USELESS
Kono mede midashita “ashita no jibun” wa mou shinjite ii'n desuka?
AFTER SEEING MY EYES, CAN YOU STILL BELIEVE IN YOUR TOMORROW?
Wakatten'da yo
I KNOW VERY WELL
Ika nakucha ikenai koto
YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO GO
Niji no mukou de matteru mou hitotsu no mirai e
BEYOND THE RAINBOW, A SINGLE FUTURE IS WAITING
Wakatten'da yo
I KNOW VERY WELL
Wakatten'da yo
I KNOW VERY WELL .
Thank you, now I KNOW VERY WELL the lyrics

that's how Obito expresses his wrath
1:05 from then on is just a masterpiece. For one last time, Obito considers his past. It's like he closes his eye to truly think back on everything that's lead up to this. Like there's one last pang of doubt in his mind before it's shredded as Minato and Kakashi fade away. He accepts the path he's on now with a heavy conscience as the statue emerges.
My man truly did not deserve the hand of cards he was dealt with.
I swear Obito Uchiha is more heartbreaking than Anakin Skywalker 💔
I still remember listening this in 2013 when I was 12 years old. Tears fill my eyes whenever listening this.
Even now this ending crushes my soul every time I watch it without fail.
At 0:01 he says わかってだよ (wakatte dayo) with the breathy high falsetto is just sounds so cool
Anyone still comeback to this masterpiece?
Completely tell a whole obito life story in less then 2 minutes and it executed perfectly. One of THE best ending in naruto universe
The lyrics fit this ending so perfectly it's heartbreaking
Best ending ever!! ♥️
Hands down the best ending, I could never skip over it
This ending is so incredible that I get goosebumps every time I watch it.
0:15 i like how there is still white spot left
1:11 IS THE MOST LOVED PART
Obito one of my favorite characters
most painfull and sadness ending song i've ever hear it
obito you a such good guy.
This ending made obito's face reveal arc so powerful and emotional for me
Man this gives me depression
Same 😭
This ending hits VERY HARD from very start!!! the groove in the singing is Soo chilling, and the moment it starts, you start getting the goosebumps and shivers like I am getting right now!!!
0:30 The way this part is sung seeps to my soul!!! The sadness...
Such a hauntingly, unforgettable, catchy ending of Naruto Shippuden, and Obito's story!!!
0:48 literalmente es cuando Obito mando al carajo su humanidad, su cordura, su pasado y su corazón para borrarlo todo y empezar de cero
This ending just made me sad.Why does everyone in Naruto gotta have such a tough life?
They were at war times... Look at boruto generation, they are in peace times, so their lifes arent going to be bad xd (atleast until kawaki show up)
I love all the great analysis in comments section which show how much interest and love people have for this serie
It’s really sad and depressing. He risked his life to save his best friend. Kakashi promised to protect Rin. Obito comes back after so long to see the person he loves the most die in front of him by his best friend.
He fell into pain by an trick
The Pain took him into the hatred
...
And the hatred gave him his name
Great ending litterally showed Obito's story in 1min.
To bad some people are to stupid to realize Obito's true intention and they keep saying "he started a war because his crush died" trying to sound funny even if that joke is so overused
thank god there is still sane people in this world
Exactly.
Give this man an award
Woah didn't expect this much people to agree with me
@@isaknordlund LOL thank you man
Obito’s backstory is so sad and seeing his past self made me cry. He was the Naruto who lost hope and no one cared about him until he wore the mask. Obito is underrated and one of the best Naruto characters IMO
Oh, there was someone who cared about him and loved him wholeheartedly. It's just that she got murdered right in front of his eyes :)))
@@kaiz1845 Rin only cared for him like a friend lol
@@amuroray9115 Ah ig you're the kind of worthless where u have no friends who love you kekw
Mi ending favorito... Te resume la historia de Obito y transmite melancolía. Todo el ending me gusta. Todas las escenas son buenas :D
From the little Spanish I learned I can understand what you are saying and I feel powerful. Also I 100% agree with you
Sí !! Está super hermoso !!!💖😢😍 justo en el kokoro
And now Obito is wrecking havoc and he doesn't care anymore but Kakashi still does. Kakashi is trying to help his friend out of the darkness just like Obito did with him before
Obito: A Naruto who lost all hope
(Almost) 2 years later and i still think this is the best Japanese song
This gives me chills every time I see it, so much pain....
Favorite ending of Shippuuden right there. The visuals, the music, and especially the lyrics gave me so much feels that I ended up really liking Obito as a character.
1:00 gives me goosebumps everytime, his ability and how the current obito cannot touch Rin
This is the best ending in Naruto, all ending should be this amazing
The entire naruto series give us a real example of how impactful the person who support us when we go down.
Naruto and obito basically the same character.Naruto has Jiraiya and Iruka but Obito has Madara.
The results are difference from those support system
even with this one song, it's enough to beat all the stories in boruto
Not my favorite music but boy do I love how they showed Obito’s entire arc here lol
Nothing matters but Rin. Poor Obito. True, you can't pity him because of his actions up till now, but to be consumed by by hatred and resentment over the woman he loved the most. I STILL to this day when Kishimoto revealed the man behind the masked and SHOCKED US ALL.
I always come back to listen to this masterpiece, honestly one of the best endings !
first time:k cool ending
third time:huh i dont wanna stop hearing this
now every day: WAKATENDEOOO
Most of the Uchiha we see were geniuses and prodigies. Obito was the only Uchiha who was a failure like Naruto in their academy days.
this ending is the best in Naruto... soo good and emotional and deep... rewatching it for a 10th time...will rewatch more for sure...
Obito’s a mad underrated character
Every panel in this ending is a work of art...
Easily the best ending in the series the song and visuals are both just perfect
