The Benro looks like a decent option, but personally, I can't not choose Sachtler. I have yet to find a tripod that can compete with Sachtler's sturdiness and overall quality while not costing both of my kidneys like O'Connor. A neat thing Sachtler do to keep the legs sticking together ever since their Flowtech option: Magnets. Just a few magnets in the feet keep the legs solidly locked together. Simple but effective.
Great video, the Red knob is most likely a warning, as touching this will destabilise the rig, aka shift the balance out of limits, so warns to Hold onto the camera, as things are going to get loose. Same as the plate lock lever, think it is a Movie standard, if touching this will cause something to fall, etc (ie is used during set up, balancing), it is RED, BLACK is safe, it moves the thing around within limits, WITHOUT the risk that you can be injured.
I'm sure Thomas will do the roof test soon enough! :D Speaking of a better solution, I believe the company is Magnus, but they have this really cool feature for securing the legs. There's a hook on a bungee that comes out of the bottom of on the legs, that can wrap around to hook everything closed. It's a really, really cool feature... that could be a bit better designed, mine is relatively worn down and I'm a bit worried about it eventually breaking. :|

I Just got the sirui bch30 i would love to know how they compare
If they send us one we could compare it! :)
Sachtler flowtech legs use heavy magnets to hold the legs closed for transport.. Kinda good idea
For the love of all that is holy please chuck up kgs in the onscreen text. It makes a big difference:)
Sorry will work on that for the next one!

Oooohhh that does sound sweet. We will check that out
75mm, 100mm, 150mn ??
Cool video! Can you also please use metric for your reviews? Maybe just in text would be great, thanks!
A great note! Thank you
I'll take the Sachtler Flowtech 75 + Aktiv6 head over this ANY day of the seek
They might be close in price but that sachtler can only support 17 lbs vs the benro at 40lbs.
@@threefoldtv Fair enough. I have no need to mount 40lbs of gear so not an issue for me :)
