Not sure if this is a”story”… or truth. But having run a good restaurant in Malibu for five years with a college close by and a bar open till 2pm… respect was paramount. Service was paramount. We valued repeat customers.. people who simply loved our food. People on dates… families… celebrities….. good folks of all kinds. We gave respect to our customers… and we gave it to our staff.
