- Background of the story:
I made this story from November 4 to 10. My review for my board exam started on the second week of November so I took all my remaining free dates in writing it, since I knew I have to write it real quick the moment I had the idea in my mind. I don’t wanna regret forgetting the storyline after days of having it.
This story unexpectedly gave me a life lesson that I didn’t originally plan to have. I hope people will like it as much as I do.
Thank you so much for your patience and support to this Channel. In my years of writing, I realize that you guys really played such a big role to whatever I have achieved today. You’re my fuel when I’m starting to lose energy and motivation. Your kind comments makes me strong. Thank you.
[Moral Lessons]
Pure Kindness:
You can't say you're kind if you're just kind in selected people.
In the situation of the first receivers, the prince here was actually kind, but just when he's with Lauree. The reason why the Attakai's power wasn't able to be fully nurtured inside of him is because his cold stone heart stops it. Remember, kindness is pure when you don't choose where, when, and to whom you'll give it. It's an ethical concern that I believe was so hard to fulfill, for we live in this world full of scams that tested our trust issues so many times. It’s hard to trust people, so it’s hard to be kind. Like how are you going to respect those people who did wrong to you and your family? How are you going to give money to unfortunate people when you knew they are just starting to become depended and decline to the chance that they can still grow and step up from poverty? Or maybe, how are you going to smile and treat every single person the same kindness when you knew some of them talks back at you as you turn around? Almost everyone advices us to be kind, even if they knew to themselves that even them can't do it, including me.
It's hard to be kind. It's true that the world will just take advantage of your kindness. But in this time where superiority of arrogant people is very unbreakable, let's choose to be kind, little by little. And you START IT TO YOURSELF. Be kind to yourself first, and then to your siblings, your parents, until to your neighbors, going to your community, and maybe next time... to strangers. Let's all start to practice how it is to have a warm heart until we get used to it and be truly a child of Attakai tree.
Envy and Greediness:
When we see someone greater than us, we always say that we wanna be them, even without us knowing how it takes to be them . Like for example, when a pretty girl pass by and you noticed how she attracted other people by her beauty, and so you felt envy and wished to be her after. But who knows? Even that pretty girl also wanted to live someone else's life?
My dear sweet people, what I am trying to say here is, all of us carry something heavy deep inside. You're not the first one to feel jealous about something or someone, so to overcome these, all we need to do is to know how to focus on ourselves so that we could be someone like Jay who knows how to filter the voices in his head and only focus on what he wanted to hear. Focus on yourself, and listen only to those who wanted the best for you. Learn how to filter the voices inside your head. Don't listen to the negative thoughts.
The stepmother who stole Jay's great hearing ability just thought it was something special and great to have. Her envious turn into greediness. She didn't even thought how hard it'll be to have that ability, and so she end up getting crazy for not being able to control the voices she hear. The feeling of wanting it all won't take us somewhere great. Let's be fair and don't stole someone else's spotlight, cause if you think that's for you, then there's no need to chase it. A dove will go home to it's real owner.
Love:
To be loved by someone like Heeseung's character still amuse me even days after finishing this story. To receive so much appreciation and affection that goes beyond your imagination is what we all deserve. I think we all made something meaningful in this life that makes us deserve a lovely love story. May we all find our happily ever after in best way we deserve.
