I never thought Gungrave would ever get a sequel. It gives me hope for a Godhand sequel or at least a remaster. Also, is it me or the japanese videogame industry is going through some sort of Renaissance period. I see a lot of classics making awesome comebacks lately.

Their problem. People should not expect high scores from Gungrave games. They've always been quality mid-tier trash. And all things considered - they are not supposed to be anything else.
I watched the entire anime (and loved it), played and beat both Gungrave games, and even I would have given the games average reviews, lol. There's just something about the games where the cinematics and art style is awesome, but the devs always coast on the gameplay, and this trailer doesn't change my mind.

Fine with me. Few games are perfect, and this never-ending quest for is ridiculous. Let's just enjoy the game, even if it has flaws. I'd rather have a 30 FPS game that actually looks like it's from this gen than bland visuals with 60FPS.

Zaraki Kampachi the developers said that they were gonna delay it this year to make it look more “cool and badass” and I’m pretty sure they’re upgrading the graphics.

Borderlands 3 is cell shaded as well and I can tell that it is from the curent generation. By having the cell shading they wouldnt need to be too concerned with realistic graphics and keep the Style of the og

Whoa.. the Gameplay is just like I remembered from PS2 game! I never get to finished it because it was too stress-inducing for me, but it was an awesome game nevertheless.

Yeah! Anime was much better and interesting than the original game...
Animated either like Persona 5 (the anime style part) and Guilty Gear or the animation they used this trailer. I hate that blocky animation they keep using.
Anime was dope. But if they adjusted the game style to make it better and more interesting, I'd take that too

The game is different than the anime, tho. The anime only adapt the original game. This is the sequel. The anime change the ending to make it's conclusive. The game however have a different ending which lead to these sequels
