Suns don't have the bodies to guard big guys. We remembered what happened with Giannis in the finals two years ago. It's even worse now because they lost depth to get Durant. Still though a great win. KD and Booker are on fire.

Jokic has a unique kind of athleticism: his insane hand eye coordination. His style looks sloppy yet he’s such an accurate shooter, passer, and an incredible rebounder

Whether you're an owner or a regular fan, you're supposed to bounce back the ball onto the court ASAP. Because I've also seen some fans in the past who give up the ball immediately and just pass it back out without having the refs or players demand it. Ishbia was definitely trying to delay the game for the Nuggets.
If I were court side as a Suns fan and one of our players is still down while the opponent is rushing to inbound, best believe I'm taking my sweet time giving it back. It's called home court advantage for a reason

But you better believe that if a player comes to retrieve it and you do anything beyond hand it to him willingly, you're kicked out by the time the inbound pass happens. 53 points on 66% shooting and 11 boards? Jokic doing everything he can to carry his team, he needs more help from the rest of the team. I'll be happy with either team winning being a Joker fan and Suns being my home team. I would be nice if CP3 can get a chip before retiring, Joker still has plenty of time to win one while CP3 is running out of chances.

So I'm thinking Miami has "Playoff Jimmy" for Jimmy Butler but for us we have "Playoff Book" & "Playoff Durant" in Phoenix! Booker & Durant are a great pair! Shamet did his thing shooting those much needed 3's. Hopefully CP3 doesn't throw off the balance ♎⚖️ of success when he comes back. He's a good player but he has his ups & downs. It is KD and by far. To be the best player, you have to play both ways.
The best player affects the game on both ends. The difference between jokic and luka vs a younger lebron is lebron was gonna make the defensive plays to change the game. A chase down block in 2016, even the play where he deflected the ball the other night and end up behind the fan seats. To me that's the difference between mvp caliber players that dominate on both ends vs. guys that just score the ball. It's also why luka is home right now and why jokic won't be winning a ring this year.
This is a great series. Both teams playing lights out. Jokic, Book, KD, Murray, Porter... Just absolute entertainment. Hope it goes 7.

Bro. This is really the only comment that matters. Honestly it's so hard to watch the nba playoffs. The refs are ridiculous and the games are just so obvious now.
Example. Kevin Durants gets a block. They show the replay in slow motion. It's clear his hand is on top of the other players hand and just fingertips on the ball. No foul called.
It's hard to watch the game and keep seeing total differences in what fouls are, or are not. It's just not a good look.

People were saying that nuggets are deeper, since when did 38 year old Jeff Green, Cristian Braun and Bruce Brown better players better than Shamet who was a starter, Terrance Ross and TJ Warren. Nuggets have no bench, Jokic was positive in +/- in both losses.
Denver have a few other players on the bench (Thomas Bryant, Vlatko Cancar, Reggie Jackson, DeAndre Jordan, Zeke Nnaji, Peyton Watson), for some reason they limit the rotation to 8.
In a any case "deep" is not only about the bench, its about comparing the top 8 or 10 players.

They are a much deeper team than the nuggets. Guys you mention that the nuggets won't be on any roster in the playoffs, except Bruce Brown, and probably not in the nba

When Phoenix wins, it takes superhuman efforts from KD and Book. When the Nuggets win, they just need to play solid basketball. I think the latter is more sustainable and may be the difference in the outcome of the series.

They would’ve won Game 2 if CP3 didn’t get hurt. They’re only winning now because Booker has been unreal as a scorer/playmaker and Durant has found his footing offensively
