Stepping into the new year after a triumphant 2023, Fred V is starting as he means to go on with his brand new euphoric electronic masterpiece ‘Metronome’ featuring Danny Connors and Petra Luke, who both accompany the legendary Tom Grennan in his live band.
In true Fred V fashion, ‘Metronome’ features heaps of futuristic sound design, emotive lyrics, and cinematic melodies. Expect an array of heartfelt musicality crescendo into a powerfully stripped-back drop where Fred explores his minimal side of production wizardry that sees in a flurry of distorted synth plucks, rumbling bass guitar licks and punchy percussion.
Following on from the succes of his recent release ‘Faded Blue’ with Hybrid Minds and Lottie Jones, make sure to keep an eye out for the unveiling of Fred V’s next big project which is on the horizon for the summer of 2024! With frequent support on the airwaves from the likes of Charlie Tee and Clara Amfo on BBC Radio 1, you can also find Fred V supplying the vibes with his very own weekly Kiss FM show every Monday from 9-11PM.

Anyone reading this know why Hospital doesn’t do compilation albums with continuous mixes anymore? I’ve thought for sure their last compilation album “500”was going to have a banging continuous mix, but nothing. Compilations with mixes seem like they were a staple for this record label for the longest time, and it just fizzled out for some reason. They are clearly still putting out new releases so there’s music still being made. Anyone happen to have any backstory or information on this topic? @hospitalrecords

Such a prententious load of waffle. I guess it's needed when the music is a bit underwhelming but you gotta try and flog the records.
Hospital has been doing that all over their site and emails and everything forever now. If my memory serves me correctly even Mistabishi, formerly signed to Hospital, had called them out on it before.
