About a year ago I got a tank and some tees with a square neckline, they feel a lot fresher, and are very flattering for a larger bust like mine. I’ve already got many, many wearings from them. When I need to replace simple basics like these, or just want alternatives, I always look for more current styles, it keeps my outfits looking updated.
This video is so on pont! I had a traditional cut white button down shirt. Upgraded to a boyfriend/oversized fit and it's much more wearable. Easy hack to update traditional tanks: Just wear them backwards if the tag and/or size lettering won't show through. Instant high-necked tank!
Helpful! I'd love to see more about how to elevate style. Next video include tops also. Perhaps how to elevate from a basic t-shirt to a more elevated replacement to a basic t-shirt. Thanks!
Thanks. This filled in an information gap. I wondered why it is that I have all the essentials that everyone recommends, yet I feel like I'm missing something. You should make such videos "updated essentials" every once in a while.
Shein is never a good choice. Why are most of the trousers shown so short? Nothing looks worse, to me, than a gap between ankle boot and trouser bottom. Good advice about keeping your basics fresh.
On your earlier advice, I bought a pair of wide leg jeans that I love!! BUT, they are in a light wash. Okay to wear in the fall/winter? With dark color or stay light throughout the whole outfit? Thanks for your awesome tips!!
I found this video very helpful, like I usually do when I watch one of yours. I was a bit surprised however about you describing the tank top in the way you did. Could you perhaps not say cheap, or low end? You no doubt have a lot more words at your fingertips than I do. I'll still watch your videos, but I couldn't understand why you use this description.
I don’t really want to show my awful upper arms, but I wear tanks or tank dresses anyway if it’s really hot, I don’t want to suffer in sleeves. I have updated mine, but the newer, deeply cut-in styles require T-back bras, so I got one each in nude and black. They weren’t very easy to find, which surprised me, because this cut has been in clothes for a year or so, at least, including in summer tank dresses. I did find them on Amazon eventually, but their crummy search engine just kept offering hundreds of regular styles instead.
You have to look for it but it is there. It’s called the Noble tee. Here’s a link to the catalog for this video. hueandstripe.com/catalog/306H&Sgbg0?s=381014
Let's talk about foot joints deformed by pointed shoes. Isn't it better to wear "frumpy" round-toed ballet flats than fashionable ballet flats that deform feet?

Those Sarah Flint shoes are so pretty I almost cried! I’m going to save my Pennies for a pair!

Ooh great idea! Thank you!!

can you show how to wear dress pants with booties? I am in PNW, cold & damp here, my feet get cold
Yes! I’m actually shooting a video about this on Friday and it will run in the next week or two!

Yeaaa! I bet they look amazing! You can wear them with dark or light pieces all fall and winter long! So glad you found a pair that you like!

That is so frustrating! Glad you finally found one that works!
I don't think Mott & Bow are selling those semi-crop, boxy tees anymore. The ones they have are longer and more fitted.

@@NadaManley ok thanks!

There are plenty of ballet flats that are comfortable and cute but of course you have to do what works best for you. I think there’s a balance. :)
you wont get bunions with round toe shoes or tennis :)
if your shoes fit properly, you wont get bunions at all.
