  • A wedding is a cause for celebration for everyone... except the bride, it seems, for the Maasai community. In Kenya's Kajiado County, getting ready to be married can be a tearful experience. Maria Galang tells us more.

    5 cows, 10 goats, 6blankets, 6 scarfs 20 L o beer and $. 500.
    Human life is cheap .
    Wow!
Only hope she got to know the husband and was ok with the choice of her father .
My friends are Maasai but they marry outside the tribe .
I am dating a man and if he came with the offer I would be offended and kick his ass to the curb .
    Lol. I am no one’s property .

Bad reporting, putting your own opnions , she is crying not because she's getting married or un happy, she is crying because she will be leaving behind her maternal home. She is not gogne for ever she can vist anytime
They are welcoming her to the new family, the motherin law is saying we are thankful to god and calling her an angel, out of respect she serves her milk.
WTF is the reporter saying : she is property 😂😂
"All ties are not cut she can visit her family" you meant no ties are cut she can visit her family, isn't that what happens in all families after marriage 😂
Huge contrast in what people are saying and what the reporter is reporting. The voice over was added afterwards for that reason.
It seems all arrange marriges are the same is this.

Wait"how can they already have a baby together and the bride is acting like she don't want to marry.hmmmm🤔my guess is that she got pregnant by him and he wanted to marry her since they already have a child together.even tho she doesn't want to marry" her father agreed to the marriage.they already have a soul tie"their child together.

She's not silent. She is scared, crying, and sad. How a man could marry a child who doesn't want to be in his company? How much disregard for her as a human being. I'm so sorry for all the girls who are forced into the cruelty of men.

how come they already have a baby if they are not in love? Dowry is a normal part of many African marriages and the bride crying as a sign that she loves her family is also a tradition... did you research this well? I mean can we get the wife's opinion? I like that her mother in law says that they are blessed to have an angel
