I found an online post that I found very helpful in the installation. I removed the original trim ring, added a small washer to each of the 3 screws securing the headlight trim ring in place, then installed the new visor WITHOUT the original trim ring. The gap I was left with is less than 1/16”. It’s possible it could be removed entirely, but I didn’t want to over tighten for fear of warping the new trim ring.
Yes I agree 100% this has to happen now. Just ordered chrome OEM parts today. HD deals running till end of the day today so still chance to score the good price on some items.
I got myself the burst collection headlamp trim ring but also the annoying gap. My godson made a filling for it with his 3d printer. I painted this black with car paint. now almost, nothing more to see. Yes, you cankeep yourself busy with it, now it's one less annoyance. 😅 thx for the Nice movies greetings grom the Netherlands.
Thank you for your comment and nice idea. So nice to see viewers from outside of the US joining the channel. I am originally from Poland myself just few years in States. I visited Groningen in NL years ago - really liked it 🤩
New subscriber, enjoying your videos! I’m considering purchasing this product but don’t like the gap in front, either. Are there any gaps on the sides between the original trim ring and the new visor you installed?
That looks good Art. It's a bummer that it has a gap like that. That would drive me bonkers. Ride safe and enjoy. 👍👊✌️
Agree this is a shame as otherwise it is nice product. Appreciate your comment
Looks awesome. Definitely powder coat the side light ones too.
Yes I definitely plan to do that soon
Looks great!!! Excellent video.
Thanks Bob.

Glad you like the videos. No side gaps. Check the other comment seems someone else figured out how to close the gap by removing original ring.
So hey, you basically just slide the new ring on top of the stock ring and screw it tight? No need to remove the stock ring?
Correct just loose it enough to slide new ring in. I tighten original ring a bit and then secured outside ring. Looks awesome
Update: I closed the gap completely!
Oh nice I wasnt able to do that in mine
