All three of them show signs of power, being cunning, somewhat cocky and overall are there to show that they are powerful, they're perhaps immortal and mainly strike confidence, knowing well that they are in control of the situation. Even the victims who have went against these three almost didn't make it out alive. For Mr. L: BF and GF never met him, but Pico did. After the encounter with Mr. L, it's still undetermined if Pico made it out alive or not For Mr. Virual: He can bedn reality at his disposal and even corrupts GF at some point in the same, but of course, GF's powers are useless in Mario's realm, so she's basically a mortal for the most part, and Mr. Virual's confidence only seems to grow as time goes on as well For MX: Stronger than Mario.exe/Ultra M by default and the "Lord X" of the Mario universe. He's considered the strongest one of all the Mario Madness characters, jumping really far, being perhaps the tallest (but again, size doesn't matter, only power does for this universe) and can even BREAK BLOCKS without stopping. He even tore GF apart witth his *bare hands*, and just like Mr. Virtual, I think he's able to bend reality within his world There are probably some holes here and there that I didn't mention with these three, but the point I'm trying to make is that they're similar to show dominance, power and confidence all while doing very little to achieve the point they'll make towards their victims.

So after BF and GF are both killed and assimilated with Mario and his fiendish friends, they realize that although their physical bodies are finished, but they're digital consciousness is still intact. After all, it is a game. So BF and GF now cursed to wander the Overworld forever, find a static-filled old style TV. They encounter the top dogs of Nintendo themselves, and realize if they can beat Nintendo, Mario's Madness would be destroyed. Because without Nintendo....there's no Mario. So, hand in hand, our favorite little rappin midgets face the ultimate challenge in a last ditch effort to end the Madness. But what they don't know is that this is Nintendo.... And, well....
