I think its location is fine. People already go out there for OmegaMart and the other stuff already at A15, so this will just strengthen that and make it even more of a destination. Besides, there's a whole lot of safety and security issues with the Strip that I'm sure they don't want to deal with. As for the IP choices... I think they're fine, although I think Exorcist Believer is a weird decision. To be fair though, the house was excellent on its own, and most people said it was far better than the movie it represents, so it was probably a decision made based on house performance rather than theatrical performance. Two things to keep in mind, too. You can do a lot more FX things and showpieces if you're at a permanent site, because you don't need to worry about teardown and can focus on structural stability. Also, these 'houses' will be modular, so I absolutely expect underperformers to be cycled out as time goes on. It will be easy for them to shut down a single house and rebuild it without having to close the entire facility.
My question is why won’t Blumhouse let Universal do 5 Nights at Freddy’s? I feel like this woulda been a perfect time to launch it with the large scale animatronics and cool costumes. I woulda rather seen that or honestly anything else blumhouse🤣 Texas Chainsaw is gonna make me die
The good thing is it’s next to Meow Wolf which is an extremely popular tourist spot. However, I feel like this has “Star Cruiser” written all over it and lasts a year or two…how will they employ scare actors year round in that many houses? Also, where the heck is five nights at Freddy’s?
I feel like Vegas would’ve been the perfect place to anchor a year round The Weeknd haunt, so I’m actually rather surprised that he wasn’t one of the IPs. As someone who’s missed out on those houses on BOTH coasts, I’d go to the Vegas location and see it for sure. I hope this location goes well, because if they do decide to put them elsewhere, I’d love to see a midwestern location, either Chicago, St. Louis, or KC, for those of us in flyover country lol
I WANT HHN Vegas to be incredible. Fingers crossed really! But I do think Excorist Believer was a misstep. The line up has an incredible original, a throw back horror IP, and classic monsters. It needed a BANGER new IP property to finish the set!
As an Aussie who is planning a USA trip next year (money depending and who's president), I am keen for HHN Vegas. Our haunts here in Australia is so thin that any big celebration like Vegas would do wonders for us. I am also a huge Icons fan so seeing Jack and Chance would be amazing. The only houses I am keen for is Universal Monsters and Scarecrow, just on the material and not having watched the other movies. I too wonder how it will last all year long, so they might use more special effects and tricks to scare rather than actors, but it is an exciting time.
I can only hope it brings back old hhn level scary to make it worth it. I can’t imagine they conga line you through. That wouldn’t be worth it for me. Very excited to see how often it changes and if they can redeem themselves on some of the houses we were disappointed in I.e. exorcist believer. I think if it does well, other IPs will jump on and give us amazing merch for compensation. Rolling the dice for some nightmare on elm street! 🙏🏻
Had the chance to do the Jimmy Fallon x HHN house at Rockerfeller Center and feel like that will be a good representation of what it will be like. IMO, that was a great experience, only 4 people going through a house, personalized, and directed scares with a scareactor going through it with you. i got high hopes for vegas for sure
I think they'll need to have different price structures so that people can pay a smaller cover charge to enjoy the bar and ambiance without the houses so they'll be able to have locals enjoy the bar more often. But a lot of people do go to area 15 when they're vacationing in Vegas, and there are a lot of people who go to Vegas that don't gamble and want other stuff to do. I think it's got a shot, but it's definitely risky.
A NEW OFFICE????? Kevin is getting some upgrades. I’ll wait to see how it looks, it’ll look good and also be in time for next year when Epic Universe opens. So new merch to put in the new office
I'm excited for HHN Vegas. The Exorcist Believer house from last year was great, but the movie was dog poop. So if it's like the house from last year, it could be good. I believe Universal can pull it off, they won't pull a Disney. Also I went to HHN Hollywood for the 1st time last week, and it was amazing! It's different but similar to Orlando's. And they LOVE to use smells in the houses....The Insidious House barf scene almost made me gag lol.
don't think it will work if you do a little research a year round haunted house has already been done in vegas it was done with Eli Roth it was scary and amazing AF !!! it was on the strip. this universal endeavor is not on the strip and everything is a-lot more expensive now .... 🤷🏽so i hope it works . but then again ZACK has museum/Haunt so i Don't know. just hope Universals name brings in the peeps year around not just during the halloween season
Just saying they paid a lot of money for exorcist rights. They got to make their money back. Also, not everyone seen the hhn house. I feel like these houses are more permanent with better effects. Think Knotts scary farm effects like shadowlands or that ghost one
I hope it does well if it’s good so we can possibly get something like it in the Orlando area (wish they would just do a HHN area land in universal or epic or at least a dark ride) I just don’t understand why bring exorcist believer. The house was good but the movie was awful and nobody is going to travel for that.

Thanks for filming all the Carey slasher cinema movies previews . So fun to check them all out.
I can’t get enough of the “Word of the Day”🤣You rock, Kevin😂
& TY Tyler!
Really enjoyed the cinematography! Especially in the Demon Queens scare zone, that transition, perfecto. 🎉
What are your thoughts about HHN Vegas?

@@maddiewynn4258it ain’t Blum houses decision it’s Scott’s decision

The baby is Quato from Total Recall 😂
That was my buddy when we were there! Dude needs to “open his mind!!”

I don't know how I completely missed that it was Exorcist believer and not the original when I first saw the trailer. That is a huge mistake.
Is this the day you met Shotzi?! 🤙🏻🤙🏻
I live close to Vegas now so I’ll go after the hype but I’m not excited for what’s been announced so far
Hope this isn't another Galactic star cruiser failure not sure 2025 is the best year to open with Epic opening

29:05 that imo was the worst HHN food this year 😂 The Korean Dog last year was way better.

I have never been so glad a HHN year is over and that is very hard for me to say because I love HHN so much
But this year SUCKED
