I picked up a used Skybox 21 to put on my 2001 Yukon XL. Drove it 2400 miles. Did not even notice it was there. Didn't even make any wind noise. I had a queen sized foam mattress in a vaccum bag compressed and rolled up in a vaccum bag and strapped and and wrapped worh stretch wrap to make sure it didn't expand while it was in the box. I also had 2 carry on luggage, a large shopping bag and a small box in there. And yes I was paying attention of the weight i was putting in it. The box did shift on me to one side. As the clamps don't get a good bite on my crossbars as my bars are pretty flat. I gotta figure a way to add something to my crossbars. Mileage hit wise, I can't say for sure yet because I just replaced a bad wheel bearing and had an alignment before my trip with the box. So my mpg before and after the repairs may be a factor. I was averaging about 13 mpg before the repairs. I will have to go through a couple of tanks of gas after the repairs with the box and vehicle not loaded down to see what my mpg is now to see if the box made a hit on my mpg.
Thanks for the short video! Better then longer ones available

I just searched up to see if anyone else named their channel about rutabagas but this is actually kinda cool
Great Presentation!. It's good to know that it fits on the older round bars. Heck, there's room for both a banjo and a guitar.
Good video. Can you tell me how many inches long it is? I know it's 16 cubic feet, but I need one long enough to fit my Gazelle camping tents.
At first, I thought you were very tall. Then I realized that you are standing on a staircase . lol
Awesome
does a lauggage can fit in thanks
Do you think it will fit a 2017 Subaru Outback? The bars are adjustable to 30 and 39 inches.
Of course. You'll need a crossbar though, not just the stock bars on the Subie.
