This is some great, close dirt racing with our Sport Mod class, from June 4, 2017 in Wentzville, MO. The racing very tight and this video has a bunch of slow-mo replays, as some of the racing was that exciting and close.

These trucks seem plenty fun, and I would assume a lot kinder to parts than the pro mods. What can be done to be able to run these motors for extended runs, like for bashing, without overheating? Thanks.

Why do some of the sport mod trucks seem like they belong in a separate class (faster)? Is it the different platforms (txt, Clod Axial)?

While the motors are pretty much spec, gearing is not. Some guys are running all different manner of ratios

Pretty much every truck you see in our series is custom, so there is really no 1 thing that can be considered the strongest. You can make a good tough truck from a Tamiya Clod Buster or an Axial-based build. A lot of what breaks falls on to the driver as well.
