Nice video I love linguistic puns, especially because I am bilingual Arabic & English and a (lazy) student of Japanese
I want to comment about the brief Arabic shown (rushed for brevity and summarized for readability - mistakes will be made)
The arabic spelling written (on the video) is رز (pronounced ruz) which in modern* arabic translates to Rice (made me chuckle).
I know you meant زر (but because the english suite of adobe and or natively english editing software doesn't write Arabic script right to left by default (unless you have the ME - middle east - version of the suite))
but زر means button (in modern arabic - and without diacritics - pronounced zer).
However زرّ with the diacritic shaddah** ( ّ - looks like a small w) which doubles the letter that it is on top of - giving the ر (Raa) (R sound in english) a heavier pronunciation زرر (Za arra) means shine or sparkle.
    * There are many meanings to a word when written and said with different diacritics
** more info can be found here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabic_diacritics

Gen 7 has some real gems, but way too many non-evolving Pokémon make it feel super shallow to me.
I really hope generation 8 doesn't follow suit and instead the vast majority of the Pokémon have at least one evolution. It'd also be great if they bring back pre-evos and post-evos for old Pokémon. We haven't had them in so long and it really bridges the universe together.

When I first saw the name Uteroid, I thought of the word "Uterus" and "Fetus".
Seing as Lusamine was absolutely insane with her children and ultra beasts, claiming to be their mother, I can see the Uterus part.
The void could also symbolise that she is not not truly their mother, instead is nothing, and means nothing to them. The "oid" could also mean vaguely human as when they fuse, and also Uteroid's appearance as a girl, specifically Lillie. So basically, a motherless child, a child with no mother, whatever u wanna word it. I like the idea of this whole thing, ESPECIALLY with the whole Lusamine thing. I'm sure i'll come and edit later lol
Edit: It could also mean a child of nothing, or a child from nothing. Tridetroll pointed out that Nihilego's name means literally "I am nothing". Cool!

Since Galar is based off the two largest parts of the UK, from what we know at the moment, I think it would only be fair to do a video breaking down Pokemon names in Scottish, and possibly English, Gaelic. That said, chances are nobody bothered with that sort of official translation, so it might take a bit more work than what these videos have done thus far.

Also, Mika actually got one of the pronunciations wrong this time, that being Lunala. Y'see, its name SHOULD be spelled "Luna'ala", as in Japanese, its name is said with four sylabble as "ru-na-aa-ra" or "loo-na-ah-la" in English.
Finally, the note on Necrozma's forms is only partially right. The names you listed are alternate names for those two forms, but the other names are what were directly translated into the English names: "Tasogare no Tategami"(Dusk Mane) and "Akatsuki no Tsubasa"(Dawn Wings)

The localizers did SUCH a good job translating these names!! Almost every translation has the same parts as the Japanese names, and they made the English names sound so charming! They even improved on a few minor things, like changing the name Silvady to Silvally. That makes it easier to tell what words are in the name, and makes the pronunciation clearer.

I like how Lurantis further emphasizes its Orchid Mantis inspiration by diverting the expectation of it being a Bug Type or Bug-Grass Type and being only Grass Type. Almost as if it’s actually what it is mimicking.

I love that for Lunala the image used for the moon is from My Little Pony. It's literally from the first two episodes where Princess Luna is trapped in the moon.

Trumbeak’s name seems more closely related to trumpeters, a family of birds, rather than a trumpet, but it could work as a double-meaning.

You should do a series like this with the English names. I know there’s already a video with it all, but it’s so fast paced. It would be nice to have a series with this type of pacing. And then we can learn about the Alolan Pokémon names too

@@zicklane as said in the video, it's name is "Fire BEWITCHING Lizard" Bewitching as in seductive, since she uses pheromones basically as a love potion. That and if you actually look at Salazzle's design, she's designed with a lot of traits that are seen as sexy, or mimic those traits. For example: the scale design on her chest resembles the "v neck" on a low cut shirt designed to show off a women's cleavage, and she has a near perfect hourglass figure. So yeah, she's a non human designed to look attractive by more human standards. Furry bait.
