This conflict did not start on Jan 7th. There is a long history of Israeli persecution of Panlistinians going back to 1948.
Israel has cut off supplies of water, fuel, food, humanitarian & medical supplies to Gaza.
Hamas is currently holding about 120 haustiges.
Israel is currently holding 1,000s Palestinian political prisoners without due process.
Hamas killed 1,200 Israeli citizens on Jan 7/24.
Israel has killed at least 25,000 Palestinian citizens since Jan 7/24. The majority are women, children and infants.
8,000 to 10,000 bodies remain under the rubble not yet counted.
Israel is currently intensively bombing Rafah in the South of Gaza - a so-called “Safe Zone” according to Israel. Rafah now contains 1.4 M (Was 300,000) people. Where are they to go?
Israel has destroyed hospitals, UN refugee camps, schools, universities, sacred sites, gravesites and more.
Israel targets international journalists(129) for sniper assassination.
Israel has become a Rogue State flaunting international law.

I am motivated to do something in response to this genocide. With my limited technical skills, I try to lend my voice to the growing global chorus of millions in civil society that are calling for Justice for Palestine - All of Palestine. It reminds me of the protests against the Vietnam War in the 1970s. Yes, I am that old.

I realize this post is long. It is long because this is a complex issue and does not lend itself to a one or two sentence comment. This issue is as great as the Nazi’s destruction of the Warsaw Ghetto during WWII. This involved the genocide of Jews in Poland. Israel, once the victim - Now the victimizer. How ironic.
Through global and especially alternative media, we are aware of what is going on in Gaza and Greater Palestine. If you are aware of injustice, then you are responsible to respond to that injustice. Silence is not a Just Response. This responsibility applies to individuals as well as stated.
Chorus for Justice
One voice added to many can change the direction of history. Become another individual Voice Crying in the Wilderness. Together, we will become a Chorus for Justice in regard to the Palestinians.
Contact your local representative and let them know that the current genocide in Gaza and Greater Palistine is unacceptable. Your government must speak out. One person speaking up does make a difference. Do something - anything.

International Law
The Responsibility to Protect is a concept rooted in International Law. The International Court of Justice (ICJ) applies to the actions of states, while the International Criminal Court (ICC) applies to the actions of individuals. Both institutions must become involved in holding states and individuals accountable for their sins of commission and/or omission.
Two-State Solution
Israel has a right to exist. It does not have the right to oppress the Palestinian people, as they have since 1948.
It is clear that, given Israel’s, the US’s and Britain’s current mindset, a One-State Solution is impossible and should be discarded as a possible option. The only long term resolution to this conflict is a Two-State Solution. Fences make for good neighbors. This is the only way both Israel and Palestine can live in peace and security.
This will require the following:
The withdrawal of all Israeli forces from all legal Palestinian territory.
The removal of all illegal settlements in Palestine.
An international peacekeeping force to protect Palestine from future Israeli aggression.
The endorsement of this plan by the UN Security Council.
Coalition of the Willing
If the UN Security Council is unable to support this outcome, then there is no other option than a Coalition of the Willing (Resistance Movement) to use military force to bring Israel into line with International Law.
This will involve the Coalition moving military forces into all legal Palestinian Territory.
Cleansing Palestine of all Israeli forces and removing all illegal settlements.
If this Coalition acted in unison, they would be successful in freeing Palestine from Israeli oppression for good.
For example, there are 700,000 Palestinian Refugees in Jordan. Surely, a military force of 100,000 could be formed out of this group.
Yes, this means a Regional War.

I've been reading Vijay's books for a few months now, and I wish I had heard of him earlier in my life. His way of analyzing things without excluding humanity and humanity and human life is something special. I would encourage everyone reading these comments to buy his books. As incredible as he is in podcast format, his books allow you to re-read a lot of bits to get a better understanding for history and imperialist politics. His work can be very dense on information and make listening to these podcasts even better.
